Recognition of VMLC's Fifteenth Anniversary
This Sunday we'll celebrate the 15-year anniversary of PHPC's flagship mission, VMLC. We'll recognize all VMLC volunteers and supporters of the last 15 years. If you are a VMLC volunteer or supporter, past or present, please stop by the Atrium to pick up your recognition ribbon. All are invited to join us in the Atrium for anniversary cake from 10:30 - 11 a.m.

Presbyterian Women Annual Missions Tea Tickets On Sale
You're invited to Presbyterian Women's Annual Missions Tea on Sunday, April 15, from 2 - 4 p.m. This year's theme is a Mad Hatter Garden Party! The speaker will be PHPC member and professional counselor Clare Chaney. She will speak on "The Healing Power of Laughter." The afternoon will also include a high tea and a silent auction. Reminders for This Week

Global Poverty Presentation 

1.4 billion people on our planet live in extreme poverty. What can we do to end this cycle? Learn and discuss with PHPC member Meg Watkins, spokesperson for the Global Poverty Project, this Monday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in Emmanuel Hall. Child care is available with 48-hour advance reservation to 214-368-6348, ext. 108. Learn more about the presentation here.

Faith and Grief Luncheon
The next Faith and Grief luncheon is Wednesday, March 21, from noon to 1 p.m. in Jubilee Hall. We invite anyone mourning the death of a loved one to attend. The luncheon is free and open to the public. Please call 214-699-4709 to make a reservation, or register online here. Please RSVP by Monday, March 19.

Third Wednesday at the Movies  
Join us this Wednesday, March 21, at 1:15 p.m. in Emmanuel Hall for a showing of Shenandoah, a film about a Virginia farmer during the Civil War who opposed both slavery and the war and was forced to take a stand. Come early for a $4 lunch in the north dining room.

Taizé Worship
Taizé worship continues through March. The next service is this coming Wednesday, March 21, at 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Apply for a Foundation College Scholarship
Applications for college scholarships through the PHPC Foundation are due March 22. Last year, 21 undergraduate students at PHPC were helped with the cost of their college tuition by endowments established at the Foundation. Applications are available in the Atrium rack or online here. Don't miss the deadline!

Wrestling with Grief Seminar  
The dynamics of grief are complex, involving physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. PHPC recognizes the need for support through the grieving process. "Wrestling with Grief" is a five-week class held on Mondays from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Parlor from April 16 - May 14. Registrations open today. Details and registration here.
