Sermon: Love and Other Complications
Have you noticed that love is complicated? More than that, the decision to love sometimes makes our decisions more complicated. The case study this morning is Paul's discussion of food sacrificed to idols. What seems straightforward becomes less so because we love.

Our next First Friday luncheon will feature Keven Ann Willey, Vice President / Editorial Page Editor of Dallas Morning News. She will present "The Story Behind the Story" of selecting Texan of the Year and daily editing of the opinion page for ten years. Catered luncheon tickets are $10. This is the last Sunday for ticket sales.

Gospel of John Short-Term Class Kicks Off

PHPC is pleased to welcome back Jaime Clark-Soles, Associate Professor of New Testament at Perkins School of Theology, SMU. Her areas of expertise include Johannine literature (the Gospel of John, 1, 2, and 3 John, and Revelation), death and afterlife, the politics of Biblical interpretation, and the use of the Bible in moral debate. Join Clark-Soles for an engaging and insightful study of the Gospel of John. This course is open to beginners and Bible scholars alike. Join us at 9:30 in Jubilee Hall A.
