Congregational Meeting
A congregational meeting will be held this Sunday, January 22 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary to act on Dr. Fran Shelton's request to dissolve her relationship with PHPC as Associate Pastor for Congregational Care. Fran's last day at PHPC will be February 15. Fran's last Sunday at the church will be Sunday, February 5. A reception in Jubilee Hall will follow the 11 a.m. service.

First Friday Tickets On Sale
Our next First Friday luncheon will feature Keven Ann Willey, Vice President / Editorial Page Editor of Dallas Morning News. She will present "The Story Behind the Story" of selecting Texan of the Year and daily editing of the opinion page for ten years. Catered luncheon tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the Atrium counter this
Sunday and next Sunday.

Worship Planning Opportunity
This Sunday, an informal group will gather to discuss ideas for "EPIC" worship opportunities. EPIC is an acronym used by Christian author, teacher, and futurist Leonard Sweet to describe an emerging communication style. It stands for "Experiential, Participatory, Image-rich, and Connected." This Bible study and discussion is open to anyone who is looking for opportunities to serve in our worship process and wishes to bring his or her gifts and ideas to a Special Worship Team. It will be held on January 22, in the Parlor from 12:30 - 2 p.m.

Good Grief Dinner
Good Grief, a ministry of the Diaconate, is a monthly dinner for those who have lost a spouse. It includes members and non-members. It is a time of fellowship, support, and caring with those who know and understand the pain of loss. Our next gathering is Sunday, January 22, at 6 p.m. To RSVP, please contact Bev Roberts at bev_roberts@sbcglobal.net.

The Mormon Church has been in the forefront of recent news. Learn about Mormonism history and beliefs on Wednesday, February 1, at 7 p.m. in Jubilee Hall.

Staff Announcement

Craig Porter's last day at PHPC is Friday, January 27. He is resigning to pursue other opportunities. Craig has been PHPC's Mechanical Technician for 12 and a half years. Many thanks to Craig for his years of service on the PHPC staff.
