In just three days I'll be carpooling with two other dealers on the way to AMSOIL U. My local business has stepped up so much lately I almost want to stay put but one of the main reasons I go is to get the purchase discount and 10% rebate. That pays for its self many times over.
I have several dealers going for the first time and Chad Novy from the northern part of South Dakota will be attending the 2nd year Business course. Chad's furthering his hands on education with AGGRAND on his own ranch this year. I'm sure glad he's going! Also two new direct jobbers - Gene and Betty Pyeatt will be attending for their 3rd year (Advanced Course) and will join that course on the tour for Foster Trucking and the University of Minnesota regarding commercial account matters. Their Oklahoma dealership has been expanding making their efforts pay off in many ways. Their son Jon will be attending his 2nd AMSOIL U!!

Sales for March and April are hitting records. I let up on my out of state focus and pressed locally for awhile as the motorcycle oil sales continue to expand. South Dakota leads the nation in bike ownership per capita and the demand has caused the local motorcycle shops to call me for product. Now that I can see selling 50+ cases in just a couple months I can justify buying more than that at a time. Amsoil's purchase discounts and great freight collect rates (about $85 per pallet) allow for the advantage.

Downline dealers numbers show the same expansion. I've received some positive emails regarding a surge in sales. One reason is the larger price increases our competitors have had to pass along giving AMSOIL a 2nd look. More of my dealers are increasing stock as they learn ways to advertise to the public already looking for AMSOIL.

Before we get to the main subject matter here I want to answer a frequent question of new prospects. "Is AMSOIL a Pyramid Scheme where I will always be making money for someone up the line?" Good question and the answer is no!! Dealers who put in the effort taking their businesses seriously have the opportunity to reach Direct Jobber. This level essentially cuts out any lost commissions to an upline. AMSOIL knows you are going to stick around so at this point several things happen. It's important for new prospects seeing this to know that although you loose commissions when your downline reaches "DJ", you will then receive a performance bonus which will be more stable than a non DJ commission and eventually exceed the amount of $$ before they were a DJ. I like to explain that as shifting a car into 5th gear. The RPM's dip a little but the overall engine speed will be more steady and by that time your knowledge factor will be creating other DJ's to fortify the situation..

Shipping Rebate for our Dealers

New shipping rebate policy. (non-AMSOIL - my personal group of dealers and their downlines only)


 Rather than end the process so many enjoy, to streamline the procedure and encourage dealers to consolidate frequent orders into one making the shipping charges and purchase discounts more efficient (you get 2% off from AMSOIL when you reach $1000 purchase) I am going to a flat rate system for the rebate. Starting with the rate of 30 cents per pound for orders that weigh 1 to 200 pounds, 200 to 500 pounds is 25 cents and over 500 pounds will be .15 cents. So a 3-case (12 qts) order you will get $22.50 back from me. And a 8 case order will get back $50.00


This system also encourages dealers to use "Freight Collect" whenever possible which can be 1/2 or less than the rates AMSOIL charges for shipping when 6 or more cases are ordered. Some states such as Montana it's impossible to get a better rate than AMSOIL's but if you have any questions let me know so I can help. 


Any order you make which is $300 or more and for your own sales stock, send me a copy of the invoice (email is ok as long as it a legible copy) and then I will figure the rebate and mail the check to you. 


  The nature of this benefit was to help dealers especially those getting started to carry more inventory w/o the burden of freight charges. So as commissions increase from repeat business our role is somewhat lessened. As you reach direct jobber your commission income increases making up for the costs.  Please encourage your own downline dealers to take advantage of our service!! We will rebate up to the point you reach Direct Jobber and then I hope you too do the same for your organization!

Fresh news today -  Found in the What's New in the Dealer Zone:

AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer (NOF) has gained certification into the USDA BioPreferredSM Program.
Under the USDA program, products are considered biobased if they are composed wholly or significantly of biological ingredients - renewable plant, animal, marine or forestry materials.

Products certified in the program carry a label icon that helps consumers make informed choices. The icon is easy to recognize and consumers can have confidence in the label because claims about the presence and amount of biobased ingredients are third-party certified and strictly monitored by the USDA.

The "USDA certified biobased product" icon will soon appear on AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer marketing material. AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer also will be listed among products that meet the USDA requirements on the agency's website,

USDA BioPreferred Program Goals
The core goals of the USDA BioPreferred Program first were introduced in the 2002 Farm Bill:

  • To spur the development of the biobased industrial base through value-added agricultural processing and manufacturing in rural communities.
  • To enhance the nation's energy security, by substituting biobased products for fossil energy-based products derived from imported oil and natural gas
  • To reduce the nation's environmental impact by promoting products that may be more benign to the environment.
