Greetings!

If your teeth ache at the idea of all that extra Halloween candy sitting in the cupboard, consider donating those goodies to troops overseas via the Post-Halloween Candy-Drive in Wellesley, described below.

Also described below are upcoming icamp sessions this February at the JCC in Newton, and April at the Weston Park and Rec. Visit our Facebook or YouTube pages to see some of the amazing projects kids have made at icamp, and call us at 617-395-7527 for more information.

Upcoming icamps!

Fall is in the air, but we're thinking winter thoughts as we get ready for School Break icamp, running February 21- 25 at the JCC in Newton. Campers can shake off the winter doldrums by creating imaginative projects in video game design, digital music, robotics, movie-making, and more! February camp also includes an hour of gym time at the end of each day. Register on the JCC website, or call CTWBoston at 617-395-7527 for more information.

Spring Break is also on our radar with icamp running April 18 - 22 in Weston. It's never too early to save a seat; you can register now on our website or call us at 617-395-7527.
Lego Raffle
The winner of our 2010 referral raffle for a new LEGO MNDSTORMS NXT set has been picked. And the lucky winner is (insert drum roll here) - siblings Nicole and Zack! Congratulations and happy building to you both!
Watertown Workshop
The Watertown Free Public Library turns into a movie studio on November 10! We're running a free Animation Workshop for kids in grades 3-5. Space is limited, so call the Watertown Library at 617-972-6435 to reserve a spot. See our online schedule for more upcoming programs.
Oh, the Things You Can Do Around Boston!

Halloween Candy Donation

More than 900 pounds of candy went to troops in 2008.

Sure trick or treating is fun, but do you and your kids really need all that extra candy tempting you with its sugary sweetness? Wellesley dentists have your teeth and our troops in mind with their Post-Halloween Candy drive, November 1-12. Donated candy will be sent in care packages to troops overseas. See the Dental Group blog or call 781-237-9071 for more info.

The Boston Jewish Film Festival
The festival "explores Jewish identity, the current Jewish experience and the richness of Jewish culture in relation to a diverse modern world." Shows run November 3- 14 in several theaters and the Museum of Fine Arts- and are selling out fast! See the full schedule and order tickets at www.bjff.org.

Environmental Learning
"e" inc. is opening their new Learning Room, an environmental learning center focused on the science of sustainability. Families can check out the new exhibits, games, and activities on Free Family Saturdays in November. Call 617-227-1522 or visit the event site for more information.
