Greetings!
We at CTWBoston are probably a lot like your child- we're already counting down to summer vacation. In just 6 weeks, school will be out and the kids will have 3 glorious months of summer vacation! If you're still looking for exciting summer opportunities to create memorable experiences for your child, seats are open for Summer icamp in Wellesley, Weston, Belmont, Concord, Needham, Lexington, and Newton. Oh, the Things You Can Do Around Boston!
MoonBots!
If you're inspired by the Google Lunar X PRIZE but can't afford to build your own private shuttle to the moon, we've got good news for you. The Google Lunar X PRIZE LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Challenge invites teams to design and build LEGO robots for simulated lunar missions. Registration is free and open until May 15th. Before there was Sponge Bob and digital animation, we had Bugs Bunny and hand-drawn animation cells. The weekend of May 29th, you can enjoy classic Looney Tunes on the big
screen at Coolidge Corner Theater. See their website for show times and tickets.
 
EarthFest
Grab your reusable fabric shopping bags and get ready for the 17th Annual Radio 92.9 EarthFest! This free event happens on May 22nd at the DCR's Hatch Memorial Shell in Boston. With free concerts, free samples, and an interactive family area, it's sure to be a rockin' good time!
Birthday Parties that Rock!
Pixellation: Ages 7-10, $20/child. Love the limelight? Make a cool group music video using a special animation technique called Pixellation. 1 hour.

Build-a-Bug: Ages 9-11, $20/child. Build a kid-powered LEGO creature and race it against your friends. Two options to suit age and ability. 2 hours.

Animation: Ages 9-13, $30/child. Make a movie tribute to the celebrant using an animation technique called Stop-Motion Animation. Your ideas, your story, you keep the movies. 2 hours.

Catapult: Ages 7-11, $25/child. Build and beautify an ancient wooden catapult that hurls paper balls with incredible accuracy. Materials included. 2 hours.

Video Game Design: Ages 9-13, $30/child. Think playing games is fun? Try making them. The group will be so engaged this will be the quietest party you will ever have. A favorite with older kids. Multiple options are available depending on age and level. 2 hours.
