| Greetings! | A lot goes on in April: April Fools' Day, Earth Day, Arbor Day, Patriots' Day, Tax Day, World Health Day, Administrative Professionals Day, and, if you believe Wikipedia, it's National Manatee Awareness Month. At CTWBoston, we're looking forward to Creative Camper Week: Vacation Break icamp is next week, and we can't wait to share the enthusiasm of campers excited to explore, invent, and create an awesome Spring Break at the JCC. Cambridge Science Festival
This year's festival kicks off on Saturday, April 24th with the free Science Carnival at Cambridge Public Library. Join presenters like MIT's Human & Automation Lab, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and, of course, CTWBoston, for a day of hands-on activities and fun with science. Jim Henson's Fantastic World Boston Marathon
"The world's oldest and most prestigious annual marathon" happens April 19th with 25,000 participants and 25 miles to cover. Visit the official website to map out the best spot to watch the runners. |
Birthday Parties that Rock!

Pixellation: Ages 7-10, $20/child. Love the limelight? Make a cool group music video using a special animation technique called Pixellation. 1 hour.
 Build-a-Bug: Ages 9-11, $20/child. Build a kid-powered LEGO creature and race it against your friends. Two options to suit age and ability. 2 hours.
Animation: Ages 9-13, $30/child. Make a movie tribute to the celebrant using an animation technique called Stop-Motion Animation. Your ideas, your story, you keep the movies. 2 hours.
Catapult: Ages 7-11, $25/child. Build and beautify an ancient wooden catapult that hurls paper balls with incredible accuracy. Materials included. 2 hours.
Video Game Design: Ages 9-13, $30/child. Think playing games is fun? Try making them. The group will be so engaged this will be the quietest party you will ever have. A favorite with older kids. Multiple options are available depending on age and level. 2 hours.
