Greetings!
Mother Nature has some tricks with the days getting shorter and the nights getting colder. But we have some treats with more classes, more technology tools, and more camper projects to share. And did we mention we're on Facebook?  We're on Facebook. Become a fan and post some of your family's creative technology projects- great for family bonding!

Tech Futures at the Boston Book FestivalBoston Book Fest
The Boston Book Festival on October 24th will include discussions on how we adapt our reading habits to new technology. The Cambridge-based E Ink Corporation will be on-site to show off the latest in electronic books, and guest panelists, including John Hodgman of Daily Show fame, will share insights at this free event.

Music On My Brain
How does music evoke our emotions? Why does music play such an important role in our lives? Join us for a noteworthy evening with neuroscientist Daniel Levitin and artist Rosanne Cash. Levitin is a rock star of science who has worked with Sting, David Bryne, and others. Cash, who has been performing, recording, and writing songs for 30 years and is the daughter of the legendary Johnny Cash, underwent brain surgery in 2007 and brings a unique perspective to music on our minds.

Fall into Foliage
The air might be getting crisp, but the sun's (mostly) still shining- perfect weather to take in the changing fall colors. The Blue Hills Reservation is open for hiking, guided tours, and special events through the season.
