Dear WRR member,
Many of you have known for quite some time that Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation is truly a special organization. For thirty four years we have worked tirelessly to save as many animals as possible. Our goal has always been to return these wonderful creatures to the wild, where they belong. And after decades of building our skill and infrastructure, we are now able to claim a new accomplishment - WRR rescues the greatest diversity of animal species in the country.

In 2010, we provided care for approximately 253 different animal species! We saved 180 native species in our rehabilitation clinics (roughly 5,000 individual animals); gave a permanent home to 24 non-native species at our sanctuary in Kendalia; and rescued 40 farmed animal species and 9 companion animal species from a perilous fate. We love and care for them all equally, from the African Lion to the native Fox Squirrel and everyone in between.
In addition to taking this time to celebrate all of the animals we have saved, we also would like to thank you for your unwavering support. Without your help, many of the animals we rescued last year would have had nowhere to turn. And as we look to the future, we ask that you consider contributing to the next generation of animals that need our help. Please help us celebrate this momentous accomplishment in the history of our organization and provide the gift of life to an animal in need.
