Welcome to the March 2011 edition of E-news.
West Hartford Chamber of Commerce Staff Transitions
West Hartford Chamber of Commerce President Marjorie Luke resigned her position effective February 25, 2011. While we will certainly miss Marjorie's dynamic energy, we are excited for the new career opportunity she has identified for herself at The Alternative Board in West Hartford. We wish her well in her new pursuits and extend to her our gratitude for her stewardship since April 2008.
The Executive Committee and Board of Directors are currently working to determine the best plan for structuring the office's professional structure and will notify membership when that plan has been formalized. Until then, we are most grateful for the continued leadership of Membership Director Gina Marie DiBattista. We also welcome to the Chamber new financial administrator Stephanie Hobbs, who began working with us in late February.
During the transition, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Gary Jones, chair of the Board of Directors, at gjones@adl.org

21st Century Leadership & Influence: Defining a New Age of Leaders
8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Pond House Cafe
We are in the midst of a shift in leadership style; a progression away from "old-style" leadership to "new-style" leadership.
