Feta Cheese Ball - submitted by Shannon Matthews
1 pkg real cream cheese, softened
1 pkg crumbled Feta Cheese, I prefer a
seasoned feta
like Atheno's Tomato Basil or Mediterranean
green onions, finely sliced
Black or Klamata olives, sliced
1 garlic clove, chopped or garlic powder
Mix softened cream cheese, feta, half of the
green
onions and garlic together in a bowl or food
processor. Scoop onto plastic wrap. Wrap cheese
mixture in plastic wrap to help form a ball.
Let sit in the
fridge until hard- approx. 30 minutes. Remove
plastic
wrap and garnish with remaining green onions and
black olives by pressing the onions and
olives into the
cheese.
Serve with toasted Pita or pita chips. I
generally eye
this recipe. It's super easy. It is very
versatile. Anything
can be added to it.
