Labor Day weekend is almost here, and in the blink of an eye, the kids will be back in school. As many of you know, September is the perfect time to come to Manzanita: The big crowds are gone, and the summer weather continues to give us beautiful days to enjoy the beach, river and mountains. If you need a relaxing getaway, call us soon - we have gorgeous homes available, and we know you'll love your September vacation here.
One last reminder: The lodging tax goes up in the City of Manzanita on October 1st. Avoid the higher expense and come in September! As always, our events calendar can help you plan your visit around something special to see or do.

Two OceanEdge Favorites
This month we would like to introduce you to two customer favorites: Hill House and Ocean Song.
Hill House sleeps 7 and perches on the side of the hill at the base of NeahKahNie Mountain. From the living room and deck you have a panoramic view of the ocean and the mountain, but the owners did something really fun, here: On the hill behind the house are viewing platforms easily reachable by stairs. And from up there, the views are breathtaking!

Another favorite, Ocean Song, joined the OceanEdge family almost a year ago, and our guests love its cozy atmosphere. This classic beach cottage offers the perfect arrangement for two couples: Two queen bedrooms (one on the main floor and one upstairs), and two full baths. The beach is just a short stroll away, and the spacious back deck is private and wind protected for lounging or outdoor dining.

Celebrating Our Repeat Renters
This month we're sending out a big thank-you to the Psaty family, who have visited Wave Walker every summer for the last ... wait for it... 23 years! The Psaty's definitely hold the record for the longest running annual visits of any of our repeat customers.
