Greetings!
Summer came in starts and fits through July, and now as August arrives, the days are sunny and mild. Manzanita is the perfect place to escape the inland heat, and there is so much to do: Play on the beach, shop the many antique stores up and down the coast, fish or kayak the nearby Nehalem river, hike Neahkahnie mountain, or put your feet up with a good book and let the marine air and the sound of the ocean soothe the soul.
In this issue we have another great new property to share with you, Tee Time, and we'll look ahead to upcoming holidays to help you plan your future stays.
Remember that prices revert to low-season rates on October 1st! |
New Low Rate at Hill House
Hill House is nestled into the side of Neahkahnie Mountain and boasts a panoramic view of the coastline. Enjoy the scenery from the living room in any weather, or relax on the deck in the summer sun. Even better, climb the stairs behind the house to reach the viewing platforms high above. The views are simply spectacular.
Hill House sleeps six comfortably, and we just reduced the nightly rental rate to $225 during high season and $175 during low season. If you're looking for a fabulous home for a one-of-a-kind experience on the Oregon coast, call us and request Hill House. |
Repeat Renters Book for Less
We recently introduced Sibley Cottage and many of you know and love Beachwalk. Though their nightly rates are going up, you can still book for next summer at the lower rate - but you must make your reservation before October 1st. As a matter of fact, if you book any of our homes for next year by October 1st, you are guaranteed this year's rates. We require a deposit of only $200/week for advance reservations. The balance of the first half of the total fees is due by December 31st. The new rate at Sibley Cottage will be $165/night effective May 1st, 2012. Call us to secure your vacation dates for the summer of 2012 before October 1st, and you will still enjoy the introductory rate of $145/night. | Great room with spiral staircase to loft at Sibley Cottage. | At Sibley your party of 6 will stay in old world comfort and charm in the heart of the village only two blocks from the beach. Sibley is a 4th of July favorite and is also a great choice, if you want to bring your dog to the Muttzanita! festival next summer. Beachwalk is an old favorite, and for those of you who love this adorable home, we understand that a price increase is likely not good news. The new rate effective May 1st will be $225/night, but reserve your summer 2012 vacation before October 1st, and we will give you the old rate ($200/night). | A quaint Oregon coast classic: Beachwalk.

Beachwalk sleeps 6, is dog-friendly, and the beach is just a block away down a sandy path. It's the perfect location that gives you a view of the beach and the mountain but is only a short walking distance to the surf. With a little planning, you'll stay again in your favorite home next year for the same price. |
