On May 21st live music, a buffet, beer, wine, a trash art show, a silent auction and a Trashion Show entertained party-goers at the 2010 Trash Bash held annually at the CART'M Manzanita transfer station.

Among the many Trashion Show entries was our very own Housekeeping Manager, Mary Moran, who delighted the crowd when she strutted down the runway in a skirt she created using the paper backing strips from toilet seat clean bands! For more pictures visit OceanEdge Vacation Rentals on facebook.

Summer In Words Writers Conference Coming to Manzanita June 25-27

The Center for Contemplative Arts in Manzanita will host the Summer In Words Writers Conference (SIW) Friday, June 25th through Sunday, June 27th. With the theme "Deepening the Craft" the conference will bring together the Northwest's best-selling authors and writing instructors for a three-day program of workshops and events. Aspiring writers can network, receive advice and instruction, and take part in a reading.
