Him, Lulu, Weird, MAD, Looney, Scrooge

This week we are featuring some wonderful runs of our all-time favorite comic book characters. We have just listed some delightful Little Lulu comics from the 1950's as well as a large run of reasonably priced Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck books from the 1970's and 80's. Super-Gems this week are some incredibly high-grade EC reprints including a very rare Australian reprint of Mad number 24! This is the issue that Mad turned from a comic book into a Magazine and changed the course of the Universe as we know it, forever.

Continuing in the EC vein, ouch! We have a wonderful run of Russ Cochran's magazine size EC reprints all in NM+ or better condition. These feature the art work of the EC stable with such luminaries as Frank Frazetta, Ghastly Graham Engles, Wally Wood space stories, Al Williamson, Roy Krenkle, Jack Davis and on and on. The titles cover the entire EC line varying from Tales Of The Crypt to Weird Science to Panic to Shock Suspense to their awesome war title, Two-Fisted Tales. We even have some EC adult take-off books in our Underground/Adult section. These are not for the weak of heart, nuff said.

We have not forgotten our Silver Age fans as you can see from the pics of thw early key Fantastic Four 28 which features the earliest X-Men crossover in Marveldom. There is a superb Thor 156 with that hard-to-get in high-grade classic black cover. It features the 1st appearance of "Him" who becomes non-other than Adam Warlock. We also received a large lot of high-grade 1980's/90's Thors signed by Ron Frienz and Walter Simonson. Most are in the 6.00 range so grab them before they are history. Oops, forget to mention some neet Gold Key Doctor Solar Man Of The Atoms and an early orignal Teen Titans number 9 from 1967.
