| STAY HEALTHY WHILE TRAVELING |
 |
One of the best ways to stay health while traveling is to strengthen your immune system before traveling, and continue to use smart judgement regarding food, water, sleep and your inner time clock along your journey.
There are several time-tested strategies and nutritional products that can help with:
- Energy Hydration
- Immune Boosting
- Injuries
- Sleep
- Stress
- Water purification

| JET LAG STRATEGY |
 |
Jet lag is another name for your internal clock going haywire. The very best itinerary is to arrive at your destination in the early evening (local time). That way you'll be able to get a light bite, a short stroll and head off to bed. You'll wake up refreshed and ready to go. If you are flying at night and your arrival time is in the morning, try to sleep on the plane.
Our bodies have an innate ability to run by sunlight and sleep in darkness:
- For long trips, light therapy can be very helpful in resetting your internal clock.
- Napping for 10-30 minutes can help to make up for sleep and ward off exhaustion.
- Try isometric exercises and curl toes, tense calf muscles, roll shoulders, slowly roll neck and stretch frequently.
- We have a special Melatonin Spray which is very effective at encouraging sleep and and re-setting the body clock. It is great for all ages.

DON'T DRINK THE WATER |
 |
|
Food Advice
- So you have heard "Don't Drink The Water!" Our immune systems while traveling are often not accustomed to the microorganisms present in a foreign country's food and water, where there is a greater occurrence of food and water contaminated with bacteria, fecal matter, and parasites.
- Travelers can experience relatively mild to severe stomach and intestinal problems. Diarrhea, nausea, cramping and vomiting are the most common.
- Try to drink bottled water. Use it on toothbrush and rinse with it. Remember ice still contains bacteria. You can use Cell Food in your water. It oxygenates your water killing microorganisms. It is also great for athletic pursuits, camping and climbing.
- Remember, coffee, tea, alcohol and carbonated beverages dehydrate your body.
- Eat cooked food instead of raw and only eat fruit that can be peeled.
- Limit intake of bread, and other glutinous and sugar products. These can encourage sluggish bowels and allergic symptoms.
Quick Snacks:
- handful sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, gogi berries
- handful almonds, walnuts or brazil nuts
- carrot and celery sticks
- whole grain oat cakes or rice crackers
- Cardio Pro Bar-heart -healthy and tastes good
- apple or banana
- baked sweet potato-tastes good at room temperature
