"But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zachariah, because your petition was heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you must call his name John [God is favorable]. And you shall have joy and exultant delight, and many will rejoice over his birth, For he will be great and distinguished in the sight of the Lord...And he must drink no wine nor strong drink, and he will be filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit even in and from his mother's womb. And he will turn back and cause to return many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God, And he will [himself] go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn back the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient and incredulous and unpersuadable to the wisdom of the upright [which is the knowledge and holy love of the will of God]-in order to make ready for the Lord a people [perfectly] prepared [in spirit, adjusted and disposed and placed in the right moral state]. No matter how far behind you ARE in reaching your goals (and plans), you will be great and distinguished in the sight of the Lord.

Many will rejoice at the birth of your dream.

Even though Zachariah had stopped praying for his dreams as he became advanced in years, God told him, "Your seed will be favorable; Your prayer has reached heaven (heard from the first day you prayed) and now is the time of fulfillment."

But how long had Zachariah been praying (and waiting for a son), that when the prophetic word came that he would FINALLY have one, IN HIS EYES, it was too late?

Scripture says in Luke 1:7: "They had no child, for Elizabeth was barren; and both were far advanced in years."

Sometimes our physical barreness, unsuccessfulness or advancement of the same condition; the same unfulfilled promise over years can destroy our (tangible) faith belief system.

V19-20 states: "And the angel replied to him, I am Gabriel. I stand in the [very] presence of God, and I have been sent to talk to you and to bring you this good news. Now behold, you will be and will continue to be silent and not able to speak till the day when these things take place, BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT BELIEVED WHAT I TOLD YOU."

When you no longer believe God can fulfill the dream in your heart, the first thing that will disappear is your outward declaration. You will be silent and unable to speak boldly to proclaim the promise anymore, because you are weary of looking foolish.

BUT GOD STILL TAKES THE FOOLISH THINGS OF THE WORLD TO CONFOUND THE WISDOM OF MEN.

This is the season where hope and expectation must live.

In that area of barreness, where there is no fruit, no seed; where you have miscarried the dream (or the best years of your life), do you believe that God can put something alive in what is "dead?"

When the Angel visited Mary later in Luke 1, she didn't look like much. She was poor, insignificant and no one knew who she was, but she was a worshipper; humbled to a state in life where no flesh could glory in His sight.

So God planted a seed and put her greatest years ahead of her. But the promise was just a seed; she had to conceive, nurture it and refrain from consuming anything harmful to destroy it prematurely.

YOU SEE, DESPITE YOUR PAST, YOUR GREATEST YEARS ARE AHEAD OF YOU AND NOT BEHIND YOU.

What is inside of you can yet live.

This is a season where God wants to release prophetic fulfillment in the lives of His people and prove He is favorable.

What is promised, but yet to be birthed, in your life was designed to turn the disobedient and incredulous and unpersuadable to the wisdom of the upright (to the holy love of the will of God.)

To make others see and believe that with God, nothing is ever impossible and NO WORD, NO PROMISE, NO DREAM from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

Today, no matter how old and unfulfilled you are, GOOD NEWS IS TRYING TO FIND YOU.

When is good news needed? WHEN BAD NEWS IS PRESENT.

This is a season when good news finds (and favors) old dreams and promises.

Just believe.
