"God left the world unfinished for man to work his skill upon. He left the electricity still in the cloud, the oil still in the earth. How often we look upon God as our last and feeblest resource! We go to Him because we have nowhere else to go. And then we learn that the storms of life have driven us, not upon the rocks, but into the desired haven."

"And God said, Let the earth put forth [tender] vegetation: plants yielding seed and fruit trees yielding fruit whose seed is in itself, each according to its kind, upon the earth. And it was so-The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

You were designed to yield fruit according to the seed you were created with.

You will produce from that which is in you.

You and I can be used for more than just business or ministry.  We can be used to heal and bridge relationships, homes and broken families, if we want.

Our life is not our own.  As children of the King, we were redeemed for His purposes.  The incorruptible seed of Christ did not originate from man's volition, timetables or agenda.  Therefore, we owe Him a harvest of what He has planted.

Whenever someone entrusts you with authority, you owe them a harvest or return of what they have invested in you.

The Apostle John wrote: "But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name--Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]" (Jn. 1:12-13)

We do not merely possess the seed of man.

We possess something far greater; we possess a seed of supernatural power, love, faith, patience, peace, kindness, grace, mercy, forgiveness, hope, expectation, miracles, influence, healing and restoration.

So beware of seeds of discord, doubt, depression, fear, uncertainty, anger, lust, pride, greed, etc that are planted and growing in your heart.

While studying today and meditating on the words of a song: "I GIVE MYSELF AWAY" by William McDowell (LISTEN HERE), I stumbled upon something God spoke to me several years ago.  At one point in my life, I must have needed this and wrote it down; but unfortunately, I never looked at it again...UNTIL TODAY (and boy did I need it.)

I would like to share this with anyone else that may need to hear and confess it:

THE STRONGER SEED

A transformation is taking place in my life (and circumstance) today.

A change is taking place in my prognosis (the prospect of my survival and recovery.)
Something in me is rising to the challenge of my enemy.

My depression is being overtaken by a garment of praise.
My Jericho is being overtaken by the shout of a King that is in MY MIDST.
Blessing is overtaking my insufficiency.
Healing is overtaking my sickness.

Recovery is overtaking my loss.

I am being overtaken by a promise that what I am suffering now is nothing compared to the glory God has promised (to give) me later.
And God's delays do not diminish the glory (state) and promise of this latter house.

Sometimes, we want the answer now.

We want the pain to stop now.
We want the healing and reconciliation now.

Yet God is trying to teach us the price (consequences) NOW of the glory He is giving us later.

God promised: "And though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase." (Job 8:7)

There is increase in the seed.

There is value in the seed (that which sits at the core of our existence.)

The storm that sits on the sea is always stronger than that which reaches land.

Yet Jesus walked in the middle of a hurricane on the sea with Peter and the moment He got into the boat, the tempest ceased and they immediately reached their desired haven and destination;

Because the Seed was stronger than the storm.

The Creator was stronger than what the enemy created and intended for evil.

Despite this storm you are in, you are still worth every dream and desire in your heart.

You can have the marriage you want.

You can have the joy you want.

You can have the position, business and ministry that you want.

You can still have the miracle and turnaround you need.

Paul wrote that: "Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]" (Eph. 3:20)

Romans 8 in the Message states: "This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?"

The Spirit of God is arousing us within.
But we're also feeling the birth pangs.

These sterile and barren bodies are yearning for full and complete deliverance.
That is why waiting does not diminish us any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother.

Today, we are enlarged in the waiting.

We, of course, don't see what is enlarging us.

But the longer we wait, the larger we become and the more joyful our hope and expectancy.

We don't see what's enlarging us.

We didn't see the sickness coming.

We didn't see the layoff (or recession) coming.

We didn't see the attack on our marriage coming.

But God did.

And with every trial and temptation, He makes a way of escape and enlarges us.

It's funny; we don't learn how to come out of a storm, until we go through one.

But possessing the fullness of God's promises (best) requires we make extraordinary faith decisions, even at times we don't feel like it.
