SOW INTO CHAMPIONS UNLEASHED WITH AN APPRECIATION GIFT

"But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name - Who owe their birth neither to *bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!] -The Apostle John

No matter what the world calls you, you are still have the authority, power, privilege and right to be called a child of GOD.

If sinful and bad decisions have smeared your life with labels (gossiper, liar, thief, murderer, deceiver, adulterer, fornicator, etc), God has given you a new Name that is above the name of every other name.

It's exciting to know that God renames His children after He adopts them.

We are no longer defined by men or titles.  Dictionary.com defines that word "adoption" as: "The giving to anyone the name and place and privileges of a son who is not a son by birth."

God has given you a NAME (something greater than a "title,") a PLACE and a PRIVILEGE.

You bear the name of ambassador; a representative of God's power and majesty; His captain, steward, deputy-elect, anointed and crowned to rule in your realm of expertise and influence.

God adopted Israel (as a nation) and you as a son or daughter.

Rom 9:4: "For they are Israelites, and to them belong God's adoption [as a nation] and the glorious Presence (Shekinah). With them were the special covenants made, to them was the Law given. To them [the temple] worship was revealed and [God's own] promises announced."

God never made a promise, until He had an adopted child to give them to.

Adoption is an act of God's grace by which he brings us into the lineage of royalty; a monarchy, a line straight to the throne; exclusivity into His redeemed family and makes us partakers of all the good, prosperity, security, stability and blessing He provides for as we take on "His" nature and character.

The Presence of the King (of royalty) is our inheritance.

Too often, we take His Presence for granted.  But the Presence of any royal figure in your life makes all the difference.  Their presence of royalty grants access, favor, authority, decrees, inheritance, blessing, provision, position and power to "natural" efforts.  Ask any job applicant, student or business owner needing a recommendation letter how impactful a "good word" from someone in authority is to their success and they will agree, it is extremely important.

How much more is the Word of a King (of kings?)

King Solomon wrote: "For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him, "What are you doing?"

Rephrased in the NLT it says: "His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it." (Eccl 8:4)

Cross referenced, Job 9:12 adds: "Were He to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him, 'What are You doing?'

Clarke's Commentary on the above passage wrote:

"He taketh away - He never gives, but he is ever lending: and while the gift is useful or is improved, he permits it to remain; but when it becomes useless or is misused, he recalls it.

Gills Exposition added:

"His will is irresistible, his power is uncontrollable; there is no turning his mind, nor staying his hand, nor turning it back; when he works, none can let or hinder. Mr. Broughton translates it, "who shall make him restore?" (l) if a man takes away what he has no right to, he may be obliged by law to restore it; but whatever God takes away he has a right unto, be it relations and friends, health or wealth; if he pleases he can restore, and does; and as he did to Job, to whom he after gave twice as much as he had before;"

God does what pleases Himself.  Do you do what pleases God?

The Hebrew writer wrote: "Without faith it is impossible to please Him."

Today, where is your faith for the promise and dream in your heart?

Are you walking in the authority, power, privilege and rights of an heir (son) in the Kingdom or a slave?

Your demographics or pay grade do not determine your sonship.

He called Israel, the son He loved, out of Egypt into His Promised Land or rightful territory after 400 years of bondage and slavery.

Stop letting people identify you solely from where or what you have been.

BE A HISTORY CHANGER.

God can restore you or any situation you are in regardless of how long and difficult it seems if you are willing to roll up your sleeves and "wrestle" for the name change.
