"The seventh angel then blew [his] trumpet, and there were mighty voices in heaven, shouting, The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world HAS NOW COME into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the eternities of the eternities)!" - The Greatest Love Story Ever Told
The taking back of kingdoms represents the regaining of lost territory and inheritance.
My two boys just started school this week and I have noticed that every school year, something I purchased for them ends up missing, lost or left behind. When this happens, my response is not one of, "Well, we will just go and buy another one." I send them back the next day to GO FIND THEIR STUFF or retrace their steps to find the lost item(s).
Now schools normally have a "lost and found." The American Heritage Dictionary defines "lost and found" as: A repository (depository or storehouse) in a public place, where found items are kept for reclaiming by their owners.
What is rightfully yours, but not in your possession?
There is coming a time when mighty voices of Heaven will shout at what they see transpire on the earth: The dominion of the world coming into your possession.
That means the dominion of everything that has false authority in your life MUST be rendered inoperative:
- The dominion of depression
- The dominion of poverty
- The dominion of the recession
- The dominion of sickness, anger, defeat, failed marriages and businesses MUST COME into the possession of the King that wants to reign through you.
Kings rule and decree justice.
As heirs, we must refuse to let the recession end without commanding a harvest. We must birth or produce something that we have never seen before. Experts say that the recession is the result of fear. As households save more and put spending on hold, businesses near the end of their resources are closing for good.
Reuters.com recently wrote: "Californians with secure, full-time jobs are also pinching pennies. The results have been shuttered storefronts, deep discounts at malls and falling sales tax revenues that along with other weak revenues, notably from personal income taxes, have forced California's state government to impose billions upon billions of dollars in spending cuts for public services."
Brad Kemp, director of regional research at Beacon Economics in Los Angeles stated, "You won't see single-digit unemployment rates in California until 2012. It's the consumer who ultimately will determine when we get out of this;"
Nationwide, this is the talk of why we are in a recession.
If the force behind the recession is fear, then the force behind our recovery is faith.
My mentor (and pastor) has been speaking in our church recently about "a shift." A "shift" in the atmosphere of our hearts and minds; a "shift" in our decisions; a "shift" in our position; But what happens when there is a shift? We change gears, speed and momentum and refuse to remain in the same location.
But when we fail to shift, we stay in neutral (the same place) and just make a whole lot of (unproductive) noise.
Have you ever tried to accelerate while in neutral?
You sound great (like a NASCAR performance vehicle) but make no progress. You say:
- I am for signs and wonders (But you are not seizing miracle opportunities to pray for the sick, reverse your circumstance or change the destiny of humanity.)
- I will be promoted (But you have no plan for professional growth.)
- The wealth and resources of the world are mine (But you are broke and have no plan of how to accumulate wealth.)
When we don't shift, we're stuck in neutral by choice.
Therefore, a shift is a decision; a decision that declares: "My current place of influence is too small for me;" a decision to increase speed and get to your desired destination (without excuse and hesitation.)
As leaders, when we shift:
- We change gears (We are no longer following our troubled and slowed past, mistakes and predecessors. We make a decision to no longer be angry, easily offended, bitter, broke, lazy, passive and unproductive and graduate past elementary things.)
- We accelerate our destiny (there is a change in our estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the marriage, job, health, business, ministry and result we want.)
- We sustain speeds and performance we could not reach in the previous gear (there is an increase in learning, capacity, application and wisdom.)
- We take responsibility for our former pace or speed.
As kingdom taking leaders, we're supposed to be the ones that people flow to in times of crisis. We're supposed to have the most creativity, most magnetic and influential brand, businesses, ideas and miracles.
Let's change that.
King David wrote: "For the kingship and the kingdom are the Lord's, and He is the ruler over the nations."
Today, we serve a God Who can cause whatever contracts, jobs, favor, influence, lost money and missed opportunities that nations hold to come into your possession.
He still turns the hearts of kings as the watercourses in the sea.
He can flip the heart of the bank manager, boss, real estate broker, politician, prospective employer or client or lost friend completely around (in your favor.)
Make the shift. YOUR GREATEST PLACE OF INFLUENCE IS YOUR MINISTRY. JOIN A CHAPTER TODAY! |
