An enemy always seeks to wipe you out.
Dictionary.com defines the word "enemy" as:
A deadly arch foe of humankind: the Devil or Satan; a dangerous public or personal adversary; A person who feels hatred for, fosters harmful designs against, or engages in antagonistic activities against another; a hostile nation, state or military force.
Why would you continue to give place to someone with that motive?
You must understand that the enemy will make a covenant with every force and habit imaginable to extinguish the remembrance of your name, faith, signs and wonders (children and legacy) from the earth.
He divides godly covenants with the covenants of sin we make with him.
He knows that if he can divide you from a job, a purpose, role or responsibility, he can wipe out the memory of all the accomplishments, achievements, miracles and milestones God performed and wants to accomplish through you.
Because:
You see, how you leave a place determines how you will be remembered.
Enemies understand the power of unity and disunity. They are crafty and subtle. They bring simple suggestions to our minds during conflict and disagreement to influence us to prematurely leave the place God has called to bless us and others.
From the beginning (in the Garden of Eden), the enemy has always sought to disqualify us from taking possession of the pastures of God (the place of God's Presence, will, promise and rest (and conquest) in our lives.)
Therefore, there is a concentrated and intense attack on:
- Your prayer, devotional and free time
- Your marriage and family
- Your time spent in the house of God
If the enemy can rob you of time in these areas, he can rob you of your inheritance (to build anything significant) to the next generation.
But in our passage above, we see that when King David identified the plot of his enemy, He prayed:
"O my God, make them like whirling dust, like stubble or chaff before the wind! As fire consumes the forest, and as the flame sets the mountains ablaze, so pursue and afflict them with Your tempest and terrify them with Your tornado or hurricane. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek, inquire for, and insistently require Your name, O Lord. Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, Whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth."
God is getting ready to send a tornado or hurricane of confusion against the enemy that is in your life.
The recession that has ravaged your family, marriage, finances, employment and kingdom seed sowing business is about to be confounded and put to shame.
But you must pick up your slingshot.
God never gives you a weapon that he does not intend for you to fight with.
As professionals, we war daily on different fronts with our talent, perseverance, tenacity and militant determination. Prayer is just a different warfare that requires different weapons.
You owe it to your family to train as a champion in this area.
Whatever area you intend to practice (and be great) in, you must study and train in. You cannot run away, or give up every time something fails or doesn't go your way.
RIGHT NOW, your faith is the supernatural catalyst to conquer the thing that intimidates your talent, gift and calling. Jonathan said, in 1 Samuel 14, "NOTHING PREVENTS GOD FROM SAVING BY FEW OR MANY."
The same is true today.
God IS concerned about you. You are hidden, yet precious to Him and He takes it personal when one of His "little" ones is attacked.
He said in Jeremiah 51, "I will [completely] repay the enemy for all the evil that they have done in Zion - before your very eyes [I will do it], says the Lord."
For everything the enemy has done in Zion (to disrupt or distract the Presence of God in your life) and attack your anointing, God said, "I will completely repay him"
Today, it's payback time.
Payback always comes in the form of a Seed (Genesis 3:15.)
When God gives you a Seed (a Word from God) it has the inherent power to reproduce another one.
TODAY, the Word of God produces:
- Financial seeds in famine
- Biological seeds to the barren
- Seeds of talents, gifts and ideas to accelerate your destiny and change your economic future.
God is no man's debtor.
Take back what belongs to you.
