To land a dream job you must be a dream candidate.
To land a good paying job, you must be a good paying employee to your organization.
When considering hiring or retaining any employee, I consider:
- What kind of wages do you pay?
- How will you profit me?
- What specific problem will you solve for my organization?
- Are you messy?
- Were you an arsonist (constantly starting fires) at your last job?
As leaders, you must strive to be on the minority report of those you report to.
You are either apart of the majority or the minority.
If you are apart of the majority, you carry no distinction. You are just like everyone else. You are not a leader, but rather a follower. Whatever everyone is saying, you pick up and repeat. You are not extraordinary. You are not a trendsetter, a pioneer or champion@work because you are ill-disciplined with your mouth and work ethic.
Majority people believe that they can sabotage a child of God without answering to God.
In contrast, minority people refuse to be classified with majorities:
"And of Joseph he (Moses) said: Blessed by the Lord be his land, with the precious gifts of heaven from the dew and from the deep that couches beneath, With the precious things of the fruits of the sun and with the precious yield of the months, With the chief products of the ancient mountains and with the precious things of the everlasting hills, With the precious things of the earth and its fullness and the favor and goodwill of Him Who dwelt in the bush. Let these blessings come upon the head of Joseph, upon the crown of the head of him who was separate and prince among his brothers." (Dt. 33:13-16)
Joseph was separate.
He was different. He wasn't like his brothers; therefore he was made prince (heir) instead of them. Minority leaders stand up (for righteousness) and as a result, STAND OUT. They lead and inspire others to be the minority in the workplace; to be leaders not followers; a blessing not a curse; a solution, not a problem; a gift and not an offense to the vision of the house.
They relish opportunities to show this distinction in their industry. They are a center of excellence. They can do what the majority of people cannot. And they refuse to stay on any job where they risk the possibility of discrediting the Name of God and their reputation of excellence. They constantly achieve influence, promotion, position and status wherever they go.
Are you a majority or a minority?
The minority report is exclusive to a "kingly" mindset. Those that strive to be an authority or expert to those they are trying to reach. Revelation 5:9 says: "And they sang a new song: You have made them to be a KINGDOM and PRIESTS to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
"Kings" (entrepreneurs, marketplace leaders) reign in the government of their industry and are executive directors in the Kingdom of God. As "kings" we are called to use our wisdom, creativity, skill and faith as fivefold ministry in the marketplace and initiate the wealth/resources of the world into our hands for godly purposes.
We are to train others to do the same.
In these last days, we must intentionally reproduce Kingdom leaders and financiers; prophetic, relevant and practical men and women with the same Spirit of excellence; we must unleash brand ambassadors of Christ and His Kingdom into the marketplace. In the O.T., "kings" (i.e., David, Solomon) did the majority of raising building funds to construct God's house.
Solomon was so inspirational in his appeal or sermon (to raise funds) he had to ask the people to stop giving.
So, money is designed to flow (as a current) to you; Are you magnetic and attractive to it? Trust me, where there is a divine flow, purpose or cause to fund what is in your heart, God will send finances to you.
"Kings" have nothing to do with being male or female; this term breaks gender barriers and has a clear, universal mission: To take back the kingdoms of the world and make them Kingdoms of our God.
Today, how you conquer the "kingdoms" your industry represents defines your individual brand. God has placed us in political and administrative power (for such a time as this) to bring Christ to the marketplace (nations.)
Realize that before gossip, strife, conflict (evil purposes) can be challenged and driven out, something opposite must be armed and ready to take its place; something greater must fill the vacuum.
As you work, pray this "kings" prayer:
We bind powers of darkness that exist our lives and those we lead.
We bind all that is wicked and opposes the rule of Christ.
We loose people to come out of poverty, come out of pornography, come out of passivity, come out of divorce, dysfunction, rebellion and gossip.
We loose jobs to come to the economy and the household of faith.
We command unexpected business and contracts to stimulate growth and the economy for new jobs.
We command houses, land and territory to come to us NOW in this time.
We declare that nations will fear and tremble at all the good and all the peace, prosperity, security, and stability God provides for us. In Jesus Name we pray, AMEN.
This isn't an exhibition game.
This is your life. This is your championship run. It's win or go home.
Be the minority.
