CHAMPIONS UNLEASHED QUICKLINKS
Champions BYTES for 12-10-08: "Your Future is in Your SEED!"

"There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink and make himself enjoy good in his labor. Even this, I have seen, is from the hand of God. For who can eat or who can have enjoyment any more than I can--apart from Him? For to the person who pleases Him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and heaping up, that he may give to one who pleases God."  -King Solomon

Someone is ordered to bless you and they don't even know about it.

That's the wealth of this promise.

Solomon wrote: God gives to the person who pleases Him wisdom, knowledge and joy.  The GK and HEB definition of JOY is: laughter, calm delight and graciousness; it means to fill, be satisfied, leap for joy, wave joyously, shout, scream, make a noise of war, sound an alarm-it is a battle cry.  That's what joy is intended to do in our lives.  But what is the wisdom and knowledge for?  It is to help us strategically initiate the wealth the sinner is gathering and heaping up into our hands and ENJOY it.

Dictionary.com defines that word "ENJOY" as to obtain or secure an object or end; to use your fruit; it means to occupy, drive out previous tenants and possess their place.  To seize, inherit, expel, impoverish; to breath, smell AND see what is good and profitable.

You should be able to enjoy the fulfillment of what is in your heart.

Use your fruit.

The blessing of the hand of God was to enable you to enjoy the fruit of YOUR seed.  But sometimes God calls us to sow in one place and reap in another.  That means, the blessing God promises in our lives may not always come from the people or places we expect.  Often times, God directs our seed into the soil of something that doesn't pay much in men's wages, but has tremendous compensation in His.

So, we sow into a church, non-profit, life group, a dance team, a choir, a Bible study, an e-ministry and end up reaping from a contract, a job offer, a tax return, a gift, a promotion or new business.  That's the promise and blessing of God.

Solomon wrote in the passage above: "For who can eat or who can have enjoyment any more than I can--apart from Him?"  In Matt 6:29, Jesus recognized the unprecedented glory which Solomon's human wisdom had brought him, but He said that Solomon arrayed in all of it was not equal in glory to one tiny lily of the field--which the wisdom of God made.

God's wisdom for me to serve giving my life away expecting nothing in return, has a far greater reward than human wisdom to work (and work and work) at the expense of God and my call to serve in a local church (the body of Christ.)

My seed was designed to be sown into something outside of me.

Whenever, I do anything skillfully and refuse to let it interfere with the love and call of God on my life, God SUPERNATURALLY increases me.

Gen 12:7-8 says: Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your posterity. So Abram built an altar there to the Lord, Who had appeared to him. From there he pulled up [his tent pegs] and departed to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord.

When God makes you a promise, will you build Him something?

God gave Abram a seed before a building assignment, which resulted in a generational blessing.  He told him, "I will give this land you are temporarily standing on to your descendants (future generations.)" But it wasn't his to give yet; he had no descendants.  But a seed was transferred that day. And the blessing of God was so strong on what Abram did next that God promised him blessing that would overflow perpetually from generation to generation.

In Joshua 8:16-18, we see the fulfillment: So all the people in Ai were called together to pursue them, and they pursued Joshua and were drawn away from the city. Not a man was left in Ai or Bethel who did not go out after Israel. Leaving the city open, they pursued Israel.  Then the Lord said to Joshua, Stretch out the javelin that is in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand. So Joshua stretched out the javelin in his hand toward the city.

God gives you the city you stretch your hands towards and build Him a dwelling place in.

In the same place Abram built an altar, God fulfilled His promise and gave the city to His people.  What do you want Him to give you?

God has always asked men and women to build him something.

Adam built Him a family, Noah built an ark, Joseph built a storehouse, A wise woman builds her house, Nehemiah built a city; Christ built Him a church.

Today, what are you building that only He can fill?

Jesus had to SOW A SEED before He could BUILD A CHURCH; and generations have reaped since.  That's how far your seed goes into your future.  Every harvest starts in seed form.

God gave you the blessing of influence, favor and position to build Him something.

Your destiny (future) is in your seed.  Let Him build on the foundation He has laid in your marriage, career, workplace, position, dream, promise and destiny.

As we carry His Seed in to workplaces and regions, He promises to overflow this vessel and create an atmosphere of hope, expectancy, blessing and miracles!
