It's time for colored eggs and Girl Scout Cookies, chocolate bunnies and pansies.  Spring has sprung!  Easter is just around the corner, then followed by communions, graduations and my favorite,  BAR - B - QUE's.  There is just so much to plan for and our catering consultants are ready to assist you. 

 

If you are like a lot of us and wait to the last minute, we will still be taking last minute orders for Easter up till Wednesday, April 4 at 12:00 noon.

Easter Specials
You will have plenty of time to hide your Easter Eggs, while our chefs prepare a succulent Veal Roast or Glazed Spiral Ham for your holiday feast.  Among some of our holiday  specialties are Italian Antipasto, Sauteed  Asparagus and our newest dessert,  Gourmet Mini Cupcakes. First Communions
Sacred and religious, communions are very meaningful events.  Usually beginning after Easter and continuing for a number of weeks, your son and/or daughters first holy communion is an important step in their religious upbringing.  Following Sunday mass, family and friends gather to celebrate.  Rather then spending your day shopping and cooking, Jacques offers Communion Breakfasts, Brunches, Afternoon Buffets and many other packages, all either delivered to you church, home doorstep or venue of choice.
 
Don't forget that our Exclusive Party Rentals can also provide much needed components to your successful communion such as tables, chairs, linens, popcorn machines, etc.

Jacques Reception Center has made a commitment to renewable energy. With so many uncertainties in the world, turmoil in the Middle East, high energy costs, an unstable power grid, and other factors, we decided that Solar Power was the right choice and at the right time. It has taken months of planning, a financial commitment of over $250,000, constant collaboration with the architects, and engineers, all to produce a 70,000 kilowatt system that will be fully operational in early Spring. This, combined with other "Green" initiatives we are implementing, will help us in protecting our environment and controlling the souring cost of energy. The 2012 Catersource Conference & Tradeshow.
 

Thank You Catersource for all the extraordinary information we gathered from your annual conference and tradeshow that was just held this past month at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.  I am happy to say that Lisa Tevis, our Director of Sales, along with one of our Sales Managers, Aimee Newby, as well as myself  attended and will be implementing what we learned in the weeks to come.  We can't wait for the opportunity to present to you some of our fascinating ideas, such as the Nitro Ice Cream Bar - Gourmet Ice Cream made with super cooled Liquid Nitrogen, or perhaps a Himalayan Salt Block Station - thin sliced and seared   Wagu beef, served with carbonated wasabi and Asian slaw.
