See Today's Air Quality Through the HazeCam | |
Hot steamy weather is here, as is the potential for excessive smog in the air. You can check Cleveland's air quality and weather conditions, and see the amount of haze accumulating during the day through the "HazeCam".
The HazeCam is a camera positioned on the tenth floor of MetroHealth Medical Center. Photo views looking north and east refresh every 15 minutes. You can access the HazeCam from NOACA's website home page. |

Vehicles purchased in the Specialized Transportation Program help physically challenged people get to work.
|
Nine social service agencies and communities in Cuyahoga County will soon receive federal funding to purchase wheelchair lift-equipped vehicles. These organizations applied to purchase vehicles under NOACA's Specialized Transportation Program, which provides funding for up to 80 percent of a vehicle's cost. The vehicles give senior citizens and the physically challenged the independence to go to work, shopping, senior centers and medical facilities. Funding allocated to the NOACA region for fiscal year 2011 totals $461,000. |
