If you are required to pay estimated income tax payments you can pay them online utilizing the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System. According to the IRS website, the EFTPS system is a safe, fast, and convenient service provided to taxpayers, free of charge, by the U.S. Department of Treasury.  

You can choose to pay your estimated taxes weekly or monthly if quarterly payments are not convenient for you. You can also schedule your payments in advance. For more information and to register for EFTPS visit the IRS website.

The Alabama Department of Revenue also allows individual taxpayers to pay estimated tax payments online. Visit ADOR's website to register.
