Solution Found for Eggners Ferry Bridge
Governor Steve Beshear has announced that the Eggners Ferry Bridge will be repaired in time for the upcoming tourist season.

The Eggners Ferry Bridge, which carries US 68 and KY 80 across Kentucky Lake and connects Marshall

and Trigg counties in western Kentucky, has been closed since the evening of Jan. 26, when a cargo vessel struck and tore away a 322-foot-long span of the 80-year-old bridge.

Federal, state, and county officials have worked with one thought in mind, to get the bridge repaired and the Route 68/80 reopened ASAP.
