The following is a list of meetings scheduled for September 2011 that are sponsored by the Purchase Area Development District (PADD). Unless otherwise noted, all meetings will be held at the PADD office, located at 1002 Medical Drive in Mayfield and are open to the public. The PADD is an EOE/AA/ADA employer.
The PADD makes every reasonable accommodation to assist qualified disabled persons in accessing available services or in attending agency activities. If there is a need for a specific accommodation, you are encouraged to contact the PADD at least one week in advance of the meeting so that suitable arrangements can be considered for the delivery of the service or attendance prior to the activity.

Paducah Uranium Plant Asset Utilization Task Force |

The Paducah Uranium Plant Asset Utilization Task Force will have its next meeting on Tuesday, September 6 at Paducah City Hall.

Water Management Council |
Thursday, September 8 at 10:00 am
The Water Management Council will establish a new prioritization process to rank water and sewer projects for the upcoming legislative session. The Council will design a point based ranking sheet to be used when considering projects. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend as this new process is being developed.

Purchase Area E-911 Administrative Board |

The Purchase Area E911 Administrative Board manages emergency service fees collected from land line and wireless service providers. |
PADD Board of Directors Meeting |
Monday, September 19 at 3:00 pm
The September meeting of the Purchase Area Development District Board of Directors' meeting will be Monday, September 19th at 3:00 pm. at the PADD office in Mayfield. |
Regional Transportation Committee |
Wednesday, September 21 at 10:00 am
The purpose of the Regional Transportation Committee is to define the PADD regional transportation activities in support of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The program provides coordination of the public review and input process for regional transportation planning, which is later incorported into the KYTC Statewide Plan. This process was established to identify, evaluate, and prioritize transportation needs for possible implementation in the future.

Jackson Purchase Hazard Mitigation Council | Tuesday, September 27 @ 10:00 am
The Federal Disaster Management Act of 2000 requires all jurisdictions to develop a Hazard Mitigation Plan, which identifies and reduces vulnerability to natural hazards. The Jackson Purchase Hazard Mitigation Council will review and update the current Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan and work with each of the local mitigation teams to identify and complete their plans. |
Business Orientation Workshops |
Each Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 am
Business Orientation Workshops explain the basics of a business plan and the procedure of applying for a business plan and procedure of applying for a business loan through the PADD.

Energy Orientation Workshops |
Each Wednesday at 11:00 am
Energy Orientation Workshops are offered weekly to aid business owners in renewable energies and energy efficiency improvements, informing them about available local, state, and federal programs.
