Greetings to the QUEST Community!
We've brought another school year to a close. This year was special - we celebrated our 20th anniversary, an exciting event with 340 attendees from every cohort, all three of our partner colleges, and former faculty and staff. We launched an entrepreneurial effort in the QUEST Incubator, which was a learning experience for faculty and students and will continue to take shape in the coming months. And we celebrated another smart and driven cohort of graduating students, the class of 2012, Cohort 17.
Although most our students will be spending their summers off campus - be sure to check out their adventures in this month's article - the QUEST faculty and staff will be here at College Park working hard to prepare for the coming year. We will be securing consulting projects for our seniors, lining up site visits and guest speakers for our courses, and preparing for our annual orientation for the incoming Cohort 20.
I am completing my fifth year with the QUEST program, and each cohort of students brings a new perspective to my work. We get better because of the voices of students that impact our work, and we're looking forward to the next chapter for QUEST with a new set of voices and ideas. We will continue to "hear the Turtle" in the coming years to improve our work as Terp educators.
Enjoy this issue of QUESTPress!

What better way to commemorate this influential program than to invite alumni, former faculty and staff, and university affiliates to meet current students, mingle with QUEST leadership, and reconnect over dinner and good conversation...Read More

Alumni Mentor Program - A Student Perspective
Article by Danny Laurence (Q19)
What does it mean to be a QUEST mentor? If you ask Andreia Rauta (or Andie, as I have come to known her), her response would be "Rid the streets of crime by night and teach through real-world opportunities by day."
Alright, so that first part may be a stretch, but I have to say that my relationship with Andie is shaping up to lead to a plethora of opportunities for us both. You could say that I am the Robin to her Batman...Read More
