Please email completed applications to InspirationSummit@hitachiconsulting.com. Deadline for applications is April 6, 2012.

Collegiate Inventors Competition

The Collegiate Inventors Competition, a program of Invent Now, is accepting entries for the 2012 Competition! This is an extraordinary opportunity for all inventors in the student body, especially those in the engineering or medical field.

Introduced in 1990, the Collegiate Inventors Competition has recognized, rewarded, and encouraged hundreds of students to share their inventive ideas with the world. The Competition promotes exploration in invention, science, engineering, technology, and other creative endeavors and provides a window on the technologies from which society will benefit in the future. The competition is open to individuals and teams of no more than four students.

CIC is funded by the Kauffman Foundation, Abbott Labs, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This year, over $75,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the winning undergraduate and graduate students and their advisors. Plus, a chance to have their work showcased to an inductee of the National Inventors Hall of Fame!
