Internship Abroad Opportunity

Looking for internship experience? Try Germany!

Prof. Worlfram Sopha from the Hochschule für Wirtschaft and Umwelt (College of Business and the Environment) in Nürtingen-Geislingen has recently spent time in the United States and has connections to the University of Maryland. He is searching for ENGR and BMGT students who are interested in doing internships in the German auto industry, and is offering these positions to current UMD students.

Before coming to N-G, Prof. Sopha spent 15 years working for GM's European division (Opel).  Further, his institution is located close to Stuttgart, and has close ties with the big German automakers.

Interested participants will benefit from getting unrivaled exposure to German thinking/methods, and this opportunity is likely to open doors to job opportunities down the road both in Europe and in the US with German sponsor companies.

For more information about this unique and exciting opportunity, please email Lisa Barnard at the Smith Office of Global Programs at lbarnard@rhsmith.umd.edu for details.
