Spring is here, no denying that. I'm sure everyone reading this is as happy about all the rain we've been getting as I am. The rain combined with the warmer weather has put a jump-start to spring. If you read my last newsletter I cautioned everyone about putting vegetable plants out too early, as we may get a late-winter frost. Mother Nature proved me wrong! That's OK though... I surely don't mind not having to shelter my spring tomato plants from frost. Speaking of tomato plants, we have a good selection of large, beautiful heirloom tomato plants for sale. Planted in 1-gallon pots, they have nice root systems and most have buds... ready to transplant to your garden for ripe tomatoes before the hot weather sets in. We also have other spring vegetable plants as well as a great variety of herbs, wildflowers, Texas natives and bee, butterfly, and hummingbird plants. |

Saturday, April 14th, 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. - Workshop
Organic Pest Control and Organic Fertilization
If you have thought about going organic with your garden, lawn and flower bed areas, or if you are confused as to what works and what doesn't this workshop is for you. The advantages of organic gardening are many... the disadvantages, none. Spend an hour learning all about it and you'll leave here a believer. I guarantee it.
This workshop is free and it is not necessary to sign up, however I will have mid-morning snacks and beverages for attendees and I like to have an idea of how many to prepare for. So if you would let me know you are coming I would appreciate it. Call Cindy at 936-655-2416 or email.
