March: Highlands Museum of the Arts (MOTA) Exhibit
MOTA exhibit of art & photographs relating to Hendricks Field and the Sebring International Raceway.  The centerpiece of the exhibit will be an original watercolor of Tommy McGuire's final mission, donated by aviation artist Andrea Davide.  For more information, visit www.HighlandsArtLeague.org or call (863) 385-6682.

March 1: Circle of Speed
Join us in Downtown Sebring for the Circle of Speed from 5-9 PM.  Meet race car drivers from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, enjoy beer and bratz, and listen to live music from The Shony Tannon Group.  

March 9: HAL Artist Reception
From 5-8 p.m., the Highlands Art League's Yellow House Gallery will host a special reception for Artists of the Month Don Kah and Max Gooding, whose art will hang throughout the month.  Free to attend.  Visit www.HighlandsArtLeague.org or call (863) 385-6682.

March 9: Destination Downtown Walk
Held the second Friday of each month from 5-8 PM, Sebring's Downtown will come alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Destination Downtown Walk.  Celebrate each month with shopping, dining and strolling around the Downtown area! Visit www.DestinationDowntownSebring.com.

March 10: Saturday Night Cruise
Held the second Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., cruisers come from near and far to Sebring's Downtown Circle to see classic cars, listen to live entertainment and enjoy delicious food.  Visit www.SebringCruise.com.

March 15: Taste of the Race
As Sebring welcomes the "12 Hours of Sebring" international car race, Downtown Sebring celebrates with the Taste of the Race in the Circle Park from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. for food, fun and fast cars!

March 17: Downtown Community Garage Sale
Stop by Downtown Sebring from 7AM-1PM for our local monthly garage sales. For space or more information, call Linda (863) 382-2649 or visit www.DestinationDowntownSebring.com.

March 24: Pilates in the Park
Join us in Downtown Sebring's Circle Park for a FREE pilates class at 10:00 AM.  These classes are great for any workout level.  Bring a mat or towel for 50-minutes of pilates fun.  Sponsored by Gold's Gym, which will give away one 1-month membership and week-long memberships to everyone who attends.

March 27: What's Up Downtown Meeting
Held the last Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., these informational meetings are a way to share news and happenings with anyone interested in Downtown Sebring.  Meeting locations rotate to various places within the Downtown Sebring district.  The March meeting will be held at McLane's Garden Cafe.  Call the CRA office for more information, (863) 471-5104.

For Sebring, March Madness has nothing to do with basketball.  As the town welcomes the 60th Annual Mobil 1 "12 Hours of Sebring," Downtown Sebring's March calendar is full of fun and exciting events to help celebrate this historic event.  For more info, Downtown Sebring.

Circle of Speed Roars Into Town 
circle of speed Downtown Sebring will be having a "roaring" good time this Thursday, March 1 as the "Circle of Speed" returns to the Circle Park from 5:00-9:00 PM.  This event is sponsored by: Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce, Plan B Promotions, Heartland Riders Association, News-Sun, Budweiser, Book Pest Control and Creative Printing.  Join the fun as Sebring kicks off "Race Month," complete with beer, brats, live music and (of course) race cars!  Within the lovely downtown setting, attendees can browse stores, enjoy the Circle's charm and see race cars up close.  Meet drivers from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, listen to live music by The Shony Tannon Group and enjoy unlimited Beer and Bratz  for $10 per person. The 60th Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will be held March 15-18, 2012, so now is the time to get "geared up."  For information, DowntownSebring.org.

 

Sidewalk Sounds - March 9 Destination Downtown Sebring
On Friday, March 9, Destination Downtown sidewalksounds Sebring presents a night of Sidewalk Sounds  of Sebring from 5-8 PM.  Enjoy an evening of sidewalk performances by more than 10 local musicians and musical groups while strolling historic Downtown Sebring.  Plus, find delightful eateries and downtown shopping specials.  Details at, www.DestinationDowntownSebring.com

Roaring 20s Arts & Craft Festival
roaring20s Downtown Sebring fun was in full swing on Feb. 11 during the Roaring Twenties Arts & Crafts Festival. More than 100 craft, art and food vendors convened around Sebring's historic downtown Circle to celebrate Sebring's 1920's heritage.  For more information about next year's event, call (863) 471-5104.
