Jan. 13-29: Highlands Little Theatre presents: The Diary of Anne Frank
Anne Frank and her family go into hiding to escape the Nazis. In her diary, Anne observes her little world: air raids, food shortages, lack of privacy, break-ins, and the perpetual fear of being discovered. There are joys too: birthday parties, games, and radio broadcasts. Her diary is a tangible and extraordinary record of a young woman's first-hand observations of the Holocaust, and the innate goodness she still sees in people. Winner of Tony and Theatre World awards, and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this poignant show is still relevant to our times. For tickets or more information, call (863) 382-2525 or visit www.HighlandsLittleTheatre.org.
