November 11: Destination Downtown Walk's Veteran's Appreciation

Held the second Friday of each month, Sebring's Downtown comes alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Destination Downtown Walk. Celebrate each month with shopping and strolling around Downtown! Participating galleries and stores feature art and gifts available, as well as entertainment, gallery exhibits, and special drawings from 5-8PM. Visit www.DestinationDowntownSebring.com.

November 11-16: Highlands Little Theatre's The Drowsy Chaperone Highlands Little Theatre presents 8:00 p.m. performances of The Drowsy Chaperone. Call (863) 382-2525 or visit www.HighlandsLittleTheatre.org.

November 12: Saturday Night Cruise Every second Saturday of the month, 5-8 PM, cruisers come to Sebring's Downtown Circle to see classic cars, listen to live entertainment and enjoy delicious food. Visit www.SebringCruise.com.

November 19: Downtown Sebring Community Sidewalk Garage Sale Join us as Historic Downtown Sebring brings back the fun and exciting Sidewalk Garage Sales from 7AM-1PM. Visit www.DestinationDowntownSebring.com.

December 1-31: Carousel of Lights Visit Downtown Sebring every evening during the month of December to see the Circle Park lit up with the celebratory and interactive annual event, Carousel of Lights.

December 2: Sebring Christmas Parade Sebring's Christmas parade is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. and is sponsored by Heartland Young Professionals Inc. The parade route will start on the Sebring Parkway at Shontee Avenue and will run south on North Ridgewood Drive, around the Circle, to South Commerce Avenue. It ends at McClain Lane by Firemen's Field.

December 3: Highlands Art League's Fourth Annual Wine Tasting The Highlands Art League will be hosting their fourth annual wine tasting at the Kenilworth Lodge from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Wine producing regions from around the world will be represented as wine and food pairings will be provided with ticket purchase. Downtown Sebring To Host Veterans Appreciation Event on Nov. 11

November is a time to honor America's Veterans, and this month's Destination Downtown will celebrate with a special Veterans Appreciation event from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, November 11 in Downtown Sebring's Circle Park following the Downtown Veterans Parade & Ceremony. Bring the family to show respect and appreciation with the following activities:
-"Show Your True Colors" Contest - Wear Your Stars & Stripes
-Entertainment by local Iraqi Freedom Veteran Adam Martin
-Express Your Respect & Gratitude on the "Veterans Gratitude Board"

Here's What You Missed in Downtown Sebring

Halloween Bash - On Oct. 14, Downtown Sebring's Destination Downtown is hosted a Halloween Bash in Historic Downtown Sebring. The event featured a costume contest for kids of all ages and pets, food vendors, music on the Circle, a "all things pumpkin" cook off, discounts offered with your 'Buy Downtown Sebring' card and pet friendly merchants.

Art Festival - On Nov. 5, the Highlands Art League hosted their annual art festival in Downtown Sebring. Visiting artists set up booths around the Circle, a Children's Street hosted student organizations and there was an interactive children's tent with arts and crafts.
