Destination Downtown - Kids Night  

Held the second Friday of each month, Sebring's Downtown will come alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Destination Downtown Walk.  Celebrate each month with shopping, dining and strolling around the Downtown area! Nearly 20 participating galleries and stores will feature one-of-a-kind art and gifts available for purchase as well as entertainment, gallery exhibits, and special drawings from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.DestinationDowntownSebring.com

Discovery Camp 2011 - Wild West

HLT Presents: The Secret Garden

Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with Uncle Archibald and his invalid son Colin. What's Up Downtown Meeting

Held the last Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., these informational meetings are a way to share news and happenings with anyone interested in Downtown Sebring.  Location changes each month.  The August meeting will be held at the Sebring Civic Center with guest speaker Marjorie Ferrer from the Delray Beach Development Authority.  Call the CRA office for more information, (863) 471-5104.

Labor Day Bicycle Ride

Guest Speaker Provides Tourism & Business Development Information for Downtowns  

The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host its next "What's Up Downtown?" meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 5:30 PM at the Sebring Civic Center on Lake ferrer Jackson starting promptly at 5:30 PM.  Guest speaker Marjorie Ferrer, executive director of the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DBDDA), will give a presentation, Positioning Downtown as a Destination for Visitors & Residents.  This topic will provide valuable information to the community on how to take advantage of Sebring's charming and historic downtown for tourists, part-time and year-round residents.

As executive director for the DBDDA since 1993, Ferrer spearheaded the revitalization of the City to encompass daytime and nighttime economy and activity. In less than two decades, she initiated concepts instrumental to Delray Beach's emergence as a thriving downtown.

In July, a huge number of people celebratedalbritton dog the "Dog Days of Summer" in Downtown Sebring complete with a Doggie Fashion Show, special pet treats, pet-related exhibitors and more!  The monthly Destination Downtown will take place every second Friday of the month with a different theme, so stay tuned for more information.
