Taste of the Race

Join us in Downtown Sebring from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. as vintage and antique race cars line the Circle Park to kick off the annual 12 Hours of Sebring car race.  Check out the cars, talk to the drivers and enjoy the food and beverages available from local vendors.  For more information, call the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce at (863) 385-8448.

 

March 25-April 10

Highlands Little Theatre presents: The Wedding Singer

Based on the film, it's 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie is Jersey's favorite wedding singer.  He's the life of the party, until his own fiancee leaves him at the altar.  Shot through the heart, Robbie, hilariously makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.  Adult language.  For tickets ($20), call the theater at (863) 382-2525 or visit www.HighlandsLittleTheatre.org.

What's Up Downtown Meeting

Held the last Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., these informational meetings are a way to share news and happenings with anyone interested in Downtown Sebring.  Location changes each month.  Call the CRA office for more information, (863) 471-5104.

 

April 7

Sebring Centennial Committee Meeting

As Sebring's 2012 Centennial draws closer, the Committee convenes the first Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM at the Sebring Civic Center in Downtown Sebring.  Anyone interested in joining this planning committee is welcome to attend.

 

April 8

Gallery & Downtown Walk

Held the second Friday of each month, Sebring's Downtown will come alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Gallery and Downtown Walk.  Celebrate each month with shopping, dining and strolling around the Downtown area! Nearly 20 participating galleries and stores will feature one-of-a-kind art and gifts available for purchase as well as art openings, gallery exhibits, and special drawings from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.GalleryWalkSebring.com

Saturday Night Cruise

Held the second Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., cruisers come from near and far to Sebring's Downtown Circle to see classic cars, listen to live entertainment and enjoy delicious food.  For more information, visit www.SebringCruise.com.

What's Up Downtown?

The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host its next "What's Up Downtown?" meeting on palms logoTuesday, March 29 at 5:30 PM at the Palms of Sebring (725 S. Pine Street).  The meeting will provide updates on Downtown Sebring events, the CRA's business incentive programs, and CRA marketing initiatives.

Circle of Speed 

red carThe Circle of Speed took place on Feb. 3 at 4:00 p.m. as vintage race cars were escorted from the track to Downtown Sebring's Circle Park.  Attendees enjoyed live music, brats, beer and the cars!  Many thanks to the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a wonderful event.  If you missed the Circle of Speed, join us on silver carMarch 17 for the Taste of the Race from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on the Circle.
