Gallery & Downtown Walk

Held the second Friday of each month, Sebring's Downtown will come alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Gallery and Downtown Walk.  Celebrate each month with shopping, dining and strolling around the Downtown area! Nearly 20 participating galleries and stores will feature one-of-a-kind art and gifts available for purchase as well as art openings, gallery exhibits, and special drawings from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.GalleryWalkSebring.com.

Highlands Little Theatre presents: Harvey

When Elwood P. Pilates in the Park

Join us in the Circle Park at 10:00 AM for Pilates in the Park, presented by Gold's Gym and the Downtown Sebring CRA.  Bring a mat or towel and enjoy 50 minutes of basic pilates fun!  FREE to attend.

Southern Gospel Concert

Highlands Hometown Hoe-down

Join us at Downtown Sebring's Circle Park for the Highlands Hometown Hoe-down from 4:00-9:00 PM with FREE admission for everyone.  Enjoy great food, such as BBQ pork and swamp cabbage, and entertainment for all ages, including live music, face painting and dancing.  Bring a can - all donations go to the Heartland Food Bank.  Presented by Leadership Highlands Class of 2010.

Destination Centennial: Downtown Sebring Business Opportunity Seminar To Be Held
 

Ever thought about starting your own business?  Have a focus on successDowntown Sebring business you'd like to improve?  Then plan to attend the Destination Centennial: Downtown Sebring Business Opportunity Seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 1 from 5:00-9:00 PM at the Kenilworth Lodge. 

The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is partnering with the Small Business Economic Development Center and the Highlands County Economic Development Commission to host a FREE seminar for anyone who either: 1) currently owns a business in Downtown Sebring or 2) is considering opening a business in Downtown Sebring. 

light bulbAttendees will gain valuable business knowledge, including: 1) Business & Entrepreneur Start Up 101, 2) Downtown Business Opportunities & Assistance - How & Why? and 3) Eight Steps to Business Sustainability - Food Service, Retail & Professional Services.

Program Grows

buy downtown cardThe Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) launched the Buy Downtown Sebring program on Dec. 1 with the goal of connecting the Downtown Sebring businesses with the buying power of our local community.  This multi-year program has already created excitement and activity downtown with seven new merchants signing on to participate and more than 75 people registering their cards at www.BuyDowntownSebring.com.  For information about Buy Downtown Sebring and how you can start saving money, visit www.BuyDowntownSebring.com.

Roaring Twenties Arts & Crafts Festival - 

roaring 20s 2Downtown Sebring will be having a "roaring" good time on Sat., Feb. 12 as the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) hosts the 28th Annual Roaring Twenties Arts and Crafts Festival from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 
 

More than 100 craft, art and food vendors are expected to convene around Sebring's historic downtown Circle to celebrate Sebring's 1920's heritage. Within the lovely setting, festival attendees can browse booths displaying wood crafts, homemade soaps, leather roaring 20s 1crafts, clothing, iron crafts, stained glass, jewelry and plants. There will also be painters, photographers and sculptors with artwork for sale. While attendees work up an appetite from all the fun, food vendors will be on site with fun treats such as kettle corn, funnel cakes, lemonade, Italian ice, hot dogs and ice cream.
