December 31New Years Eve With the LandsharksJoin us at the Kenilworth Lodge for New Years Eve starting at 7:00 p.m. with appetizers, a surf and turf buffet at 8:00 p.m. and the Landsharks taking the stage at 9:00 p.m. The Landsharks band have played with Jimmy Buffet and the Beach Boys. Buy Downtown Sebring Program Launched With Much Success The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) launched the Buy Downtown Sebring program on Dec. 1 with the goal of connecting the Downtown Sebring businesses with the buying power of our local community. This multi-year program has already created excitement and activity downtown with more merchants signing on to participate.  With the exciting new Buy Downtown Program officially launched on Dec. 1, four more merchants have joined the 25 who are participating in the program. These businesses are: Floors Direct, Highlands Office Supply, J&J Barber Shop and Wild Artist Jewelry & Beads. Please visit these newest Buy Downtown Sebring merchants!
CRA Adopts Downtown Advantage Program
The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency  (CRA) voted to re-instate the Downtown Advantage Program, which was used in the early 1990s. This is just one more incentive-based program to make Downtown Sebring properties competitive with other retail and professional space. The program provides financial assistance with the interior leasehold improvements new tenants need to build out the stores for their needs. The maximum contribution by the CRA is $5,000 and is a three-way partnership between the CRA, property owners and tenants. Landlords will agree to the same amount as the CRA grant, to be spread out over the term of the lease. A minimum two year lease agreement is required to participate in the program. Downtown Streetscape UpdateConstruction on the last section is expected to be completed by Dec. 18. A revised, final completion date is set for the end of December. If you have questions regarding this project, please contact Rob Miller at (863) 471-5115.

What's Going On In
Downtown Sebring
Carousel of Lights - The 17th annual Sebring  Christmas Carousel of Lights is co-sponsored by the City of Sebring and the Sebring Special Events Committee. It is open every evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. through Dec. 28. Attendees can enjoy a visit with Santa, the singing zoo, putt putt golf as well as the largest display of Christmas lights Sebring has ever had. If you haven't visited the Circle this holiday season, be sure and schedule some time to check it out (no matter what your age).
