Sebring Thunder Car Show
Join us for Sebring's largest car show to date.  Be sure to register your ride by Sept. 6.  On Friday, there will be a Welcome Reception at the Kenilworth Lodge 5-7 pm and Burnout on the Circle at 7:30 pm.  On Saturday, join us for the Car Show on the Circle from 9 am - 3 pm, then BBQ & Awards Banquet at Kenilworth Lodge at 6 pm.  For the Grand Finale on Sunday, registrants will be able to race five laps on the 12Hr Sebring Race Track at noon...what a great photo opportunity!  For more information, visit www.SebringCruise.com

Heartland Idol

Gallery & Downtown Walk
Held the second Friday of each month, Sebring's Downtown will come alive with the unique and enjoyable monthly Gallery and Downtown Walk.  Celebrate each month with shopping, dining and strolling around the Downtown area! Nearly 20 participating galleries and stores will feature one-of-a-kind art and gifts available for purchase as well as art openings, gallery exhibits, and special drawings from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.GalleryWalkSebring.com

Saturday Night Cruise
Held the second Saturday of each month from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., cruisers come from near and far to Sebring's Downtown Circle to see classic cars, listen to live entertainment and enjoy delicious food.  For more information, visit www.SebringCruise.com.

"Night Moves" 5K Race/Walk
Join us from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM as the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce hosts a 5K race from the Circle, out and back several times, culminating with a beer bash and live band on the Circle.  For more information, contact Greg Harris at [email protected].

Alzheimer's Association - Memory Walk
Memory Walk is a family friendly event to raise awareness and funds to support the programs and services of the Alzheimer's Association, which will take place from 8-11 am at the Circle Park in Downtown Sebring. Some of the activities include live entertainment, trade fair, food, and a 1.5 mile Walk. In Memory: Jim McCollum

Downtown Sebring Website Grows in Popularity

The Community Redevelopment Agency's (CRA) new website for Downtown Sebring, www.DowntownSebring.org, continues to grow in popularity and is helping to improve overall communications between the Downtown Sebring area and the City's residents and visitors. CRA Website Screen shot 

The website features useful information, including a comprehensive events calendar with submit-your-event option, links to area businesses, CRA information and downloadable forms,  a photo gallery, links to the area's social media sites and E-newsletter, news and things to do in Downtown Sebring.  

"We are thrilled more and more people are using this new site as a helpful resource for Downtown Sebring," said Pete Pollard, CRA Executive Director. "I encourage residents and visitors to use the site and support the downtown area and merchants."

Downtown Streetscape Makes Progress
Work continues to progress on the streetscape project. The first block is nearing completion as the second goes under construction. According to the contractor, each block will take approximately two weeks or less to complete.

The mission of the CRA is to bring about the welcome to sebringeconomic revitalization of an established target area. To create a re-investment environment that attracts private investors into the area. To promote improvements within the redevelopment area through renovation and restoration of buildings, as well as to encourage new construction. To acquire the funding necessary to make the infrastructure improvements necessary to attract investment dollars and improve the assessed taxable value of district properties and to assist the Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Merchants in their efforts to market the downtown businesses.
