Well, July has definitely arrived. I know all anyone is talking about is the heat, but it's kind of hard to think about anything else these past few days. On Saturday, the thermometer in my car showed 115, although the weatherman said it officially only reached 105. May as well have been 205, as far as I'm concerned. My heart goes out to all those who have lost power or don't have access to AC. All I can say is, stay hydrated and hang in there.

 

Summertime usually means a serious slowdown in business, as folks are outside enjoying the sun. Well, I hate to state the obvious, but there is such a thing as too much of a "good" thing! This is definitely a time to stay indoors and WORK ON THOSE MINIs! I know I say that when it's cold ... when it's raining ... when the wind blows, but you have to admit that this is mini-building weather! So, why not take advantage of it and start a new project?

 

Blanche just commented that I "clearly don't have much to talk about today." Well, I guess she is right and I should wrap it up. I just wanted to check in with everyone and say hello. Y'all take care out there, have a safe and happy Fourth, and I will check back in with you soon.
