Greetings!
Thank you!
We appreciate your business.

Happy June everyone! The Missus and I are off to New York City for some much needed mini inspiration! After a hectic May, it's looking like June could be just as crazy around here. So, I needed to get away and get my inspiration on. Blanche and I always seem to find a lot of that idea juice in the Big Apple. We walk a lot, eat a lot and window shop ... a lot. I'm too cheap to go to the theater and, truth be told, that probably accounts for most of the walking, as well. But, what better way to really SEE the city? Already, I'm feeling inspired. And, even though Blanche says I look like the stereotypical tourist, stumbling down the sidewalk with my camera on, staring straight up, I feel certain that I shall return south with our next Creatin' Contest kit planted firmly in my brain. It's a small price I pay for greatness.

Blanche Blanche uses these trips of ours to "work on me." Being that we're trapped together for long periods of time, she always makes the most of it. This time, she has been gently reminding me of some of the mistakes I have made and subtly suggesting ways I might have handled such situations, well ... differently. Nothing too terrible ... just work stuff, like too many backorders, overstocks, stuff we should probably close out ... it's a good thing we are having this time together, or I might never have thought about those things (BLANCHE!). But, we all know that she's right, and that I am lucky to have her, and that, even if I do already know all that stuff, she has a way of making me own up to it and get it done. Not a day goes by that I don't thank the Lord for her, and for this wonderful business and all the people we work with ... no matter how annoying some of the daily challenges get every now and then

June is usually kind of slow in miniland ... what with graduations and weddings and vacations and such. Maybe, during a long car or plane ride, y'all can take a cue from Blanche and use this time to reflect on your minis and what little tweaks you could make to bring them to a new level. Trust me, it makes a big difference.Or, it could be a good time to start brainstorming about those BIG holiday project down the road!

Well, that's about it. Hope you are all settling into summertime and enjoying your slower months, too. We have mini great things planned for the balance of the year, and I can't wait to share them with you soon (just got an elbow in the ribs). OK. We're off.

Look out for the June bugs and stay cool,

Ernie
