A beautiful day today, but our thoughts and prayers are still with those that lost loved ones and their 'normal' lives in the tornadoes that came through last week. It certainly helps to put things in perspective!

Show 200 includes...
In this special show, we depart from our traditional format so we can take a look at some artists that we've grown with in the last four years.
We first check out a Jim Brickman music video shoot, where Jim invited an unsigned trio to perform with him on the video for 'Never Alone.' That trio has gone on to sign with Capitol Records, and has seen huge success the last few years. That trio, of course, is Lady Antebellum. Check out this segment here.
We also look at one person who has greatly impacted country music the last few years. Scott Borchetta's first artist on Big Machine Records was Taylor Swift, and they are now enjoying unprecedented success for a young artist. We also look into Scott's opening of the Valory Music Group, and what it meant at the time to artists like Justin Moore and Jimmy Wayne, who were along for the ride. See all about it here.
We visit with other artists very early in their major careers. We sit down with Jamey Johnson to talk about his first single 'In Color.' We catch up with the Zac Brown Band at a show at Nashville's Belcourt Theater to talk about a catchy little song they had just released called 'Chicken Fried.' We sit down with Darius Rucker backstage at the Grand Ole Opry to talk about his first single released to country radio. We then hook up with Randy Houser to talk about his experience as a brand-new artist and getting invited to the David Letterman show to perform his then-new single 'Anything Goes.' We also catch up with Jerrod Niemann as he plays the Ryman Auditorium with a few of his good buddies. We also talk with Luke Bryan as he celebrates the release of his sophomore album. Finally, we chat with Miranda Lambert at her very first number one party. Watch it right here. |
