The workshop will not be held unless we have a minimum of 5 congregations participating. Please register your teams today!  *You are welcome to bring other members of your congregation in addition to your RPM team (Religious Educators, Presidents, Ministers) for this very important workshop.

Teams are needed for congregational leaders to get information in each area of concern. Bring leaders of neighboring non-UU congregation for free.

Mental Health Crisis on a Sunday morning or between Sundays over time is a recurring nightmare for congregational leaders because it has happened and it is likely to happen again. Last year at least six of our congregations in the NNED struggled to figure out how best to walk with all of our needs.

Come learn from fellow UU leaders who have been through it and experts who can help guide us toward reasonable ways to prepare and be strong and clear.

Fire, acts of violence, and natural disasters have impacted many of our congregations and even more, the communities in which our congregations are embedded. Learn from UUs who have been survivors or supports in these crises and experts what reasonable things can be done to increase the potential for strength, equity, and love in response when crisis does happen.

Crisis unfolds when there is abuse of power in a congregation such as financial fraud or sexual misconduct between parishioners or between minister and member(s) of the congregation. Learn from UU leaders who have been through it and from experts who can guide our congregations toward wholeness and health.

Cost: $30 per Team of 4 Congregational Leaders, $15 for each additional person. Bring a 3-person team from a neighboring non-UU congregation for free!

UUA Offers New Discussion Guide on Doctrine of Discovery

At the January meeting of the UUA Board of Trustees, the Trustees voted to place a responsive resolution to repudiate the Doctrine of Discovery on the business agenda for the 2012 Justice General Assembly. What is the Doctrine of Discovery? Why have our partner organizations in Arizona called for its repudiation? How are we as Unitarian Universalist people of faith called to respond? Download a new three-session discussion guide suitable for in-person and online conversations, individual reflection, and journaling.
