Dear Friends,
As we enter this month of Thanksgiving, there is so much to be thankful for. It is always good to stop and reflect on some things we take for granted. After this past weekend, I am sure we were all thankful for electricity and praying for those who still are without. Here at OLMC there are so many people to thank - so many who make our day a little easier, and so many who make our children's day a little brighter. I wish I could list them all here, but space does not permit. So let me thank a few who have made the beginning of the school year a little more special. First, I would like to thank Jen Lambert and her team for organizing the Bingo/Pizza Night. Everyone had a great time. And a special thank you to Lorenzo Cuoci for being our number caller; it is never dull with you around. You kept the children wound up and engaged!!!
Second, I would like to thank Annette Crovo and Christine VanCamp and their large team for their countless hours to make this year's Craft Fair something to look forward to. If you have not already done so, or find yourself with a few extra hours to give/volunteer, please call Kathy O'Connor or Patty Murphy. There are a few more volunteer slots to fill. I hope you will make time this weekend to come out and support this event - it is the one opportunity when our school opens its doors to the entire community.
For those who are in town for Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you will be attending our first Comedy Night featuring Joe Conklin. It will be held on Saturday, November 26th. So after you've had your turkey, visited with family, and gotten up at 5am for those door busters at Target, it is time for some laughs with your secondary family at OLMC. Please see below for ticket information.
I hope you all will have a very special Thanksgiving!
May God Bless you and keep you close,
Bernadette Hughes
Home and School President
