In this week's video I talk about what you have to know about to raise capital for your small business without becoming personally liable to your investors. I discuss SEC regulations for private placements, Regulation D, Rule 504 and how to know if you're actually offering and selling a security.
With the weather getting better here in Orlando, I've been able to get out on the kayak. Last weekend I went to a kayaking class. This weekend I'll be going fishing in Mosquito Lagoon. It doesn't sound so great, but it's reported to be one of the best places for Red Fish anywhere. I'll let you know.
