Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks to you, our kids will be going back to school ready to learn! They will be dressed in their new uniforms or school clothes and have all the supplies they need to get a great start to their education.

Because you cared, these students won't have to worry about looking out of place or not having all of their supplies!

Education is such an important aspect of the future for these kids and their parents-many of which are in school themselves! If you would like to help further our educational efforts and you like Italian cars and Italian food, read about the Italian Grand Prix to benefit our Helping Hands Education Fund.

Our Volunteer Services have been busy, busy, busy! Make sure you take some time to view the video-it's very touching.

Tears of joy flowed in San Antonio and Tennessee when these young people (and their sponsors) reached out and served! Enjoy their testimonies on how much they learned and what the experience meant to them and the men, women and children they served. Just click on the picture to see for yourself!

3rd Annual

Gran Premio D'Italia

(Italian Grand Prix)

This fun event puts together the love of education and fine Italian sports cars and food! A dinner and silent auction will top off the event with all of the proceeds going to the Educational Endowment Fund-Helping Hands.

During this past school year, this fund provided almost $50,000 of assistance to help advance the educational aspirations of the people we serve!

Volunteer Meeting

If you volunteer or want to learn more about volunteering, we are having a meeting on August 16th in the Community Center at our Transitional Living and Learning Center-5922 Blanco Road.

We will discuss upcoming changes and exciting new service opportunities! Worship Teams are encouraged to attend!

Hope you were as impressed as I was by the volunteer video as I was. Our volunteers are so great! Their caring and dedicated service is to be applauded! And I plan to do just that at the August 16th meeting-hope to see you there!
