ARBOR DAY IN NEBRASKA IS APRIL 27TH!
Now is the time to think about spring tree planting.
As the seasons have turned and City of Wahoo property owners are turning their attention to their lawn and landscape, they are reminded that City ordinance requires any property owner intending to plant in the "sidewalk space" (between the curb and sidewalk) to first obtain a planting permit from the City. The City's tree ordinance specifies proper planting distances and acceptable tree varieties that may be planted. Tree planting permits are available through the Parks and Recreation Deparment.

Pain is like a speeding ticket...it's a warning!
Do you suffer from chronic pain conditions that impact the overall quality of your life? Know the causes and find solutions to help minimize (or eliminate) the pain and overall ailment.
Plantar Fasciatis? Cause: Excessive rotation outward of hip with excessive plantation of big toe and/or old sneakers. Solution: Strengthen lower abs and inner thigh. Use entire hamstring and put even pressure on all five toes.
Sore Knees when running or playing sports? Cause: If pain is on top or bottom of knee cap...anchoring movement through neck and feet vs. hips and abs. If on sides of knee cap...excessive outward or inward rotation of knees and feet. Solution: On top or bottom of knee cap...coordinate abs and hips to produce the movement vs. neck and feet. On sides of knee cap...strengthen and balance entire hip structure.
Sinus Problems? Cause: Breathing too shallow. Solution: Pull inhaled air in through top of nose and back of throat from the depths of your abs.
