 SUMMER IS HEATING UP!!
This summer has been very warm so far and we are certain the next two months are not going to disappoint the summer lovers. www.ShiningLotus.com is not going to disappoint either when the full-service online store opens up in September. Also, the $1 book table is back every weekend in August and September. Just outside the front door, every book on the table, one dollar, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays!
Front Range Pagan Pride is coming up on September 18 at the Stapelton Central Park and promises to be the best yet. We have been called to be the "Air" Sponsor again this year and will be setting up a booth at the festival. We will have a wide assortment of Pagan and Wiccan books and Tarot decks as well as the dragons and fairies. Author T. Thorn Coyle is the featured speaker at the festival and will be stopping at the Shining Lotus on Friday night, September 17, for a lecture and book signing at 7 pm.

ASTROLOGICAL UPDATE

At the start of each day, I have a morning routine of walking, meditation, and prayer. It is essential to quiet my mind and balance myself in these rapidly changing times. Recently, the
magic of butterflies have graced my walks. I can't help but marvel at the powerful symbolism that butterflies represent for transformation and change. They are reminding me that we are moving through a period of metamorphosis as we stretch and grow. There is a need for freedom, originality, and transformation as we deepen our paths of self-discovery to create a new future, unencumbered by the past.
