Esoteric Science is a deep investigation into advanced Spiritual Metaphysical Principles, and teaches us how to quicken our Spiritual Evolution in alignment with the Laws of Creation, of energy and power.
 Part 1 examines The Seven Rays - Basic streams of energies which emerge directly from the Creator to shape reality. Each one of us has up to 5 of these Rays active within us - some serve to strengthen and support, others are our challenges. By revealing these energies we learn more about our gifts and abilities, and how best to apply this inner essence to create a spontaneous flow of pure energy between ourselves and Spirit (by embodying such Truth we release ourselves from the struggles of living as simple humans with limited perception of higher realities.)
This on-going course is open to all seekers of such knowledge, regardless of your current level or lineage - this is my personal invitation for you to join us on this Path to Wisdom.

JUST FOR HEALTH:
FRESH GINGER FOR THE FIRST INKLING OF COLDS AND FLU

 Picture a nice warming tea on a cold day. Sweat it out. Move germs along to the exterior before they get lodged in. This is what Ginger Rhizome (Zingberis officinale Rosco)can do. Pungent, hot and dispersing fresh Ginger is just the ticket when you're thinking some version of "Uh oh, my head hurts a little and my throat is thick."
So get thee to the grocery store and pick up some Fresh Ginger Root in the produce section, so you will have it on hand when you need it. Put it in a zip lock baggy. It stores nicely in the freezer for a long time.
Chinese wisdom says that fresh ginger promotes sweating and the dried tincture or tea expels interior cold. Ginger root has a natural affinity towards the respiratory and GI systems. It's a no-brainer for a cold coming on, with or without a little stomach upset to boot.
Primary Actions of Ginger:
Anti-inflammatory/Analgesic: Inhibits formation of inflammatory prostaglandins leukotrine and thromboxanes. Inhibits release of substance P (for pain) much like the capsaicin in Cayenne.
Expectorant and Anti-Bacteria/Viral: Will kill germs and get up phlegm.
Anti-emetic: Reduces nausea.
Increases Circulation: Anti-platelet.
Diaphoretic: Warms the body, creates sweating. Helps maintain body temperature and inhibits serotonin-induced hypothermia.
Brew Some Fresh Ginger Tea: (as the need arises)
One cup of tea (8 oz)
Grate one teaspoon of fresh or fresh frozen ginger. (If some peels get in, that's a good thing). Simmer root in a little over eight ounces of water for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. If you like, add some grated fresh orange peel or a few peppermint leaves. Strain. Add honey to soothe the throat and give some bug killing action. Yum.
Daily Dose: 3 cups. Make up enough for a day. Triple above recipe. Store in glass jar in fridge and reheat as needed.
Safety: This is a very mild herb with few contraindications. Safe in pregnancy and lactation. Sometimes used for "morning sickness". Slight anti-platelet activity. Best used short term for immediate symptom relief.
Other tidbits: Used as a pungent spice and medicine for thousands of years. The whole fresh root is called "Green Ginger". Its use is recorded in Sanskrit and Chinese texts and is documented in ancient Greek, Roman and Arabic medical literature. Was probably one of the first cultivated plants ever. Grown in India, China, Jamaica, Haiti and Nigeria.

 What many people experience in life are choices we made to grow and learn before we took on our current body, personality and situation. Some believe we have to 'pay back' on a karmic balance sheet, while others accept we sometimes choose to experience 'opposite side of the coin' conditions rather than 'have to' do so. ASTROLOGICAL UPDATE

 December 1st begins with the Full Moon in the versatile sign of Gemini. We broaden our communications through Gemini's innate exuberance for networking, brainstorming, attending social engagements, communicating on the Internet and social media, writing, speaking, and multitasking. On that same day, Uranus, the planet of sudden and erratic change, turns direct, creating unexpected bursts of intuitive, innovative and potential unsettling energies. Uranus has been retrograde since July, suppressing restless energies on an internal level. As Uranus turns direct, there is a sudden inclination to actualize changes. Be advised not to act impulsively. On December 16th, the New Moon in Sagittarius shifts us into higher spiritual consciousness, as we turn to our higher power for answers. Mars retrogrades through the sign of Leo on December 20th, where it will remain through March 2010. The sign of Leo, represents creativity, heart centered and risking taking pursuits, courage, love, romance and children. As with all retrogrades, this energy becomes an internalized process as we explore our deepest passions and desires. The best use of this fiery energy is through creativity. The Winter Solstice takes place on December 21, marking a seasonal shift to begin of the winter season.
On December 26th, a Mercury retrograde begins the New Year in the sign of Capricorn until January 15th. An internal focus on finances is highlighted. Saturn, the ambitious, hardworking ruler of Capricorn, transits between the work and service oriented sign of Virgo and the relationship oriented sign of Libra. It will take hard work, egalitarian dreams and partnerships to create our visions. We will have much time to sort this through when Saturn goes retrograde on January 13th until May 2010. On January 14th, a Solar Eclipse occurs at 25 degrees Capricorn. Eclipses serve to catalyze our destiny's deeper calling. Intentions set at this time will have greater significance six months down the road. We are inspired to pay attention to our dreams and visions as Jupiter conjuncts Neptune on New Year's Day and transits into the sign of Pisces on January 17th. Working with our imagination and our sensitivities is the key to connecting with the spiritual realms. We are invited to reinvent our lives anew this New Year. Our ability to maintain our center during these turbulent times will be our biggest challenge.
